• Conduct Mass Toolbox Meeting
• Conduct Monthly WSH Committee Meeting and Conduct Weekly WSHO site inspection
• Conduct Emergency Preparedness Exercise (eg Fire Drill)
• Conduct Internal Safety Audit
• Perform daily site inspection to ensure compliance to all legal & other requirements
• Identify unsafe work practices / work conditions and implement control measures to rectify unsafe work
• Ensure all control measures that are being recommended are implemented properly
• Monitor & assess on the effectiveness of all recommended control measures
• Ensure all personnel on site complied to all in-house rules & regulations
• Ensure all activities / procedures complied to all statutory requirements
• Review Safe Work Procedures / Risk Assessment
• Conduct training for staff & workers to create awareness of Safety Measurement
• Conduct presentations (Safety Management System) to Client / Consultant
• Promote Safety Culture / Safety Attitude
• Evaluation on the Safety Performance of all subcontractors
• Maintain and conduct Risk Assessment
• Initiate and follow up corrective actions and non-conformities
• Prepare and update incident/accident analysis
• Assist Project Manager in investigating accidents cases, prepare I-report, prepare in-house accident investigation report

Job Requirements

• Min 5 years of relevant working experience in the building construction industry
• Diploma in Engineering/ Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent will be preferred
• Possess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

Job Responsibilities:

· Implement and monitor Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) practices at work sites.

· Conduct regular WSH inspections and ensure follow-up actions are taken to maintain safety compliance.

· Ensure all health and safety policies, procedures, rules, and regulations are adhered to, regularly reviewed, updated, and effectively communicated.

· Ensure the company fulfills its statutory obligations regarding health, safety, and welfare at work, including statutory training and reporting requirements.

· Oversee the completion and periodic review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.

· Document, investigate, and implement improvements for all reported accidents.

· Coordinate the development and implementation of health and safety policies, work systems, and procedures.

· Conduct inspections of project sites to verify that safety measures are consistently enforced.

Job Requirements:-

• Possess relevant safety certificates (Eg Advanced Certificate in WSH, Safety Officer's Course or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Building Construction
• Familiar with ISO45001, ISO 9001 & ISO 14001
