Duties/Responsibilities:

5. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

6. Provides support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.

7. Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.

8. Analyzes trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.

9. Oversee and manage performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

10.Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.

11. Carry out employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.

12. Maintains compliance with local employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance with local employment laws.

13. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

14. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Scope

• Provide necessary support for all human resource functions
• Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions
• Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence
• Schedule or conduct new employee orientations
• Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants
• Gather personnel records from other departments or employees
• Search employee files to obtain information for authorized persons and organizations, such as hospitals or ministries
• Handle all work pass application and renewal documentation and process
• Handle all workplace insurance and WICA-related documentation and process
• Management of foreign migrant work force
• Confer with management to develop or implement personnel policies or procedures
• Provide management with information or training related to interviewing, performance appraisals, counselling techniques, or documentation of performance issues

Location: East

Working hours: Monday to Friday, Standard Office Hours

Responsibilities:

• Be well-informed and understand MEP or construction drawings.
• Discuss with PM/HOD for site problems and technical difficulties.
• Monitor sub-contractors / vendors work, conduct quality checks on their work daily and ensure safety practices are followed.
• Track materials to ensure sufficient materials are readily available for installation.
• Inspect incoming materials and equipment deployed to work sites.
• Go for site inspections with client/main contractors representatives and update progress.
• Keep drafter updated on site changes and as-built drawings.
• Arrange and attain permit to work before execution of site.

Requirements:

• Min. NITEC/ Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering or other engineering fields.
• Min. 1 year experience in building, construction or engineering industry.
• Electrical engineering background is preferred.
• Possess BCSS certification - Building Construction Supervisor Safety or Supervise Construction Work for WSH is a plus.
