• Review method statements and risk assessment submitted by various subcontractors/vendor, offering improvements or any safety requirement that need to be incorporated and monitors compliance with the method statement while the work is being performed.
• Schedule and carry out regular site safety inspection on subcontractors/vendor (employees) and monitor their overall compliance and performance in the project and shall review with Project Manager on a regular basis on the subcontractors/vendor (employees) safety performance and safety activity status.
• Conduct daily toolbox meeting.
• Maintain proper OHSAS documentation at all.

Requirements:

• Valid WSH Officer registration / certificates with MOM
• Minimum of 1 year experience on construction/engineering projects

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of the project assigned by Project Engineer.
• Assist in the requisition of resources for the project such as labour, materials, equipment and others.
• Supervising of sub-contractors work and ensuring safety practices are followed.
• Liaise with affiliated parties for the material delivery.
• To assist engineer to carry out inspections of incoming materials and equipment for the projects at the work site.
• Conduct quality checks of sub contractor/vendor works daily.
• Handle site inspections, to arrange and attend to site inspections with RTO.
• Arrange site inspection with client/main contractors representative and update site installation progress
• To update the drafter on site changes regularly.
• Arrange and obtain for permit to work before execution of site.
• Raise non-conformance product report for nonconforming products.
• To ensure proper handover process of project to the customer upon project completion.
• Carried out assignment as detailed by the Senior Manager / Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Building / Civil / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience in similar capacity under building/construction/engineering industry
• Electrical Background is a must
