· Manage the project's design coordination works. Liaise with Clients, Consultants and Subcontractors to ensure the smooth progress of the coordination. Ensure the information between different disciplines are communicated and discussed among the team.

· Manage the project’s drawing coordination in between disciplines and sub-contractors’ drawings.

· Manage the project’s drawing schedule, to ensure timely issuance of drawings for construction.

· Work with BIM modeller/drafter on shop drawings preparation, to capture all detail dimensions and settings. Must be able to convey technical information to BIM modeller/ drafter via sketches. Must be able to study and understand technical drawings independently without the drafter's assistance. Must be able to identify the critical technical information/sections that need to be generated for construction usage and technical resolution.

· Work with the construction team and sub-cons to prepare and submit for approval the construct

i) material submission.

ii) material specification submission.

iii) method statement.

iv) specialist trade sub-con shop drawings.

· Address and resolve technical issues raised by the construction and consultant's teams, through clear communication and good documentation.

Qualifications:

·Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural discipline

· At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

· Experience in residential project will be advantageous.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
• Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
• Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) with attention to budgetary limitations
• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
• To manage tender works including provide the directions on planning, construction technique, quality of tender submission documents, risk and issue management, tender price negotiation with suppliers and subcons for finalization.
• Assess tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria.
• Prepare presentations, risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
• Responsible for the technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.

Pre-Contract Stage:

• Review of scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings and Specifications.
• Responsible for timely and completeness of taking off measurement, and ensure completeness of QS team measurement.
• Compilation and preparation of Tender Queries submission to respective Consultants, and follow up on the reply and ensure all
• information are been updated to all respective parties.
• Obtain, compile, and evaluate quotations from vendors according to tender requirements.
• Prepare quotations to clients, ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid.

Post Contract Stage:

• Cost Control.
• Cost Estimation.
• Calling of quotation and quotation analysis.
• Prepare Progress Claim and Progress Payment.
• Identify potential claims and Variation Order based on the contract deviation.
• Prepare Main and Sub contract's final accounts.
• Contract Administration.
• Work and establish relationships with all stakeholders.

• Any other related Quantity Surveying Works which is not mentioned above.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Company including but not limited to Tender, Sub-Contract and Main Contract.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Building or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the building construction industry in Singapore, preferably with a Main Contractor.
• Experience in HDB Tender/Project is an advantage but not compulsory.
• Experienced in tendering for projects.
• Proficient computer skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Skilled in project management software.
