ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily Update of Project/Operation Progress to immediate superior.
• To have and maintain good daily attendance and punctuality.
• To update team member at least 2 working days in advance before going for leave , in order to minimize downtime
• Supervise and oversee the work of Electricians and Instrument Techs, responsible for training and testing, responsible for maintenance of and compliance with electrical safety program, including LOTO System.
• Must have working knowledge of all applicable electrical industry standards and recommended practices, e.g. NEC, IEEE, ANSI, ISA, NEMA, CP5 etc.
• Must have the knowledge and experience of instrumentation used to control and monitor processes in the chemical processing/Oil & Gas industry
• Must have hands on knowledge and experience with various types of instrument and electrical systems, equipment and software.
• Experience and ability to manage electrical and instrumentation engineering projects with knowledge of how to establish estimates for VO/Change Order works
• Managing, allocating resources and ensuring completion of E&I work orders
• Leading the electricians and instrument techs in finding and executing solutions to E&I problems on site
• Planning and organization of some non-capital E&I project work, including plant shutdowns/ TAR works
• Able to have understanding the control system architecture and software sufficient to find and modify elements.
• Communicating with Project Engineer/QC engineer to validate and document all changes and highlight to PM for changes that shall involve additional works
• Nominating and training Instrument/Electrical Techs capable of doing works well
• Assist to set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular basis
• Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements as well as project requirements
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any tim
• Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with the procurement department to ensure site have adequate resources to complete the tasks
• Produce ITP’s with QC Engineer and Task Briefings
• Produce 2 week look ahead in conjunction with the Site Agent
• Comply with company procedures and legal obligations
• Promote and comply with environmental compliance
• Deliver the works safely and to deadline
• Promote best practice for Safety, Quality and Productivity
• Ensure work is delivered defect/snag free
• Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities and innovaive ideas and closely working with CM
• Coordinate with client and other Contractors for the project interface activities.
• Managing project scope and change control with commerical or without commercial impact.
• Monitor and ensure supervisor plan and instruct and monitor in DWI .
• Update and report daily progress status and lookahead minimum 3days plan with Supervisor.
• To Accurate and timely setting out of the works
• Timely handover of works and Quality records without outstanding defects
• Production of accurate records, drawing registers and weekly Reports
• Must have good relationship with Site team & client technical representative .

TRAINING

• To understand on SAP transaction: Invoicing Plan, GR, Budget, Actual Manhours, MRMS, Costing

• To achieve 72 training hours per year

• A full time leader at site and Site Engineer work with in executing and monitoring the job scope.
• To provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships of the on-site staff and to promote a positive project morale.
• To have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the General Contract, each Subcontract, the contract drawings, specifications and addenda, and to assist the Project Management in the development of the on-site procedures.
• To examine the contract drawings, specifications and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details, and to bring these to the attention of the Project Management.
• To assist the Project Management in the development and refinement of the Project Schedule, and to work with the Project Management to keep the schedules properly updated, and to see that the job meets the various required dates.
• To conduct Safety Tool Box Meeting on site. Ensuring daily topics are available. Assigning every Foreman and Supervisor for a daily topic as a daily routine.
• To plan and review the Construction Program with the Project Management including construction execution procedure such as Method Statement and Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedure, also quality control procedures, safety and security practices, field office location and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment and manpower.
• To coordinate, direct, monitor, and with the Project Management/Site Engineer and the technical coordinators, (project specific as required) inspect the activities of the Subcontractors, Suppliers and labor and material.
• To verify that each Subcontractor has completed his contractual requirements as condition precedent to beginning his work at the jobsite.
• To see that all required PTW or licenses have been obtained at work site before the job starts.
• To maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project including the public.
• To insure that subcontractor enforces their safety programs including the holding of toolbox safety meetings.

ROLES&RESPONSIBILITIES

• To carry out daily checks of the assigned vehicles before operating
• To load, unload and transport goods
• To ensure that loaded items are properly latched
• To carry out the tasks as instructed by the respective supervisor in charge
• To ensure that the receiver receives the goods/materials in good conditions and order
• To ensure that the receiver checks and inspects the goods/materials and returns the signed D.O back to HQ supervisor
• To ensure that the mobile machine is in good condition and is operated according to procedures and in compliance with the safety procedure

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Primary education
• Possesses a Class 5 driving licence
• Completion of WSQ Lorry Crane Operator course
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in operating lorry cranes
• Basic knowledge in preventive maintenance of vehicle
• Must have Valid CraneOperation Licence

Description

Reporting to Senior Document Controller and Project Manager. He/She is responsible for ensuring all technical documents are file and maintain under the organisation document control procedures and standards.

Responsibilities

• Organizing and filing of technical documents and correspondence with internal and external customers for all document transmitted
• Control the issuance and submission of documents to Clients and ensure that timelines are duly met
• Effectively keep track and manage the flow of documentations
• Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information
• Maintain list of documents and ensure that the documentation is in good order and as per Project Quality Plan (PQP)
• File, record and maintain documents in both electronic and physical copies
• Contribute to compilation of final project dossiers, as built portfolios and archiving
• Monitoring and Updating EDCL (Engineering Document Control List) to ensure all the drawings/documents status are in latest condition Produce exception reports on late documentation for management review
• Co-ordinating drawings/documents flow between site and main office in Singapore
• Preparing in Mechanical Catalogues for submission to client
• Other general administrative tasks as assigned by Reporting Supervisor or Project Manager

Requirements

• ITE, GCE O Level or Diploma in Engineering preferred but those with relevant working experience in Oil and Gas industry is an added advantage
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in working as Document Controller
• Meticulous and proficient in MS office
• Basic analytical experience
• Proficient typing skills, good verbal and written communication skills
• Data organization and storage knowledge
• Willing to work in Jurong Island
