The candidate will be accountable for ensuring the work required, such as submittals, RFI’s, coordination drawings, updating documents, etc, are complete, ready and approved for the CSA subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest of compliance to the contract documents.  This role is focused on managing the CSA subcontractors' field operations and installation details for a large complex data center project, having stringent technical requirements.

We are seeking an individual with Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) technical experience for the position of CSA Site Supervisor at Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. Singapore operations.  The candidate will work directly with the Construction Managers and the subcontractors throughout the construction phase of the largest multistory data centre in Asia (The Project).

Reporting to the Construction Managers, the candidate will be responsible for coordinating site-related works with the Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Subcontractors to perform their scope of work in the strictest compliance with the contract documents.  This role is focused on working in the field and will report directly to the Construction Manager. This candidate should understand all aspects of construction in relation to executing work on-site 

It is expected that the candidate will be detail-oriented with previous experience working as a Civil/Structural/Architectural (CSA) Site Supervisor on data center projects and/or other complex technical projects.  There will be a significant amount of “hands-on” work coordinating with contractors in the field while installing all aspects of the project superstructure.  The candidate must have robust Emotional Quotient (EQ) skills and be able to relate to and communicate with the client, the Fortis Construction Pte. Ltd. team, and subcontractors of all tiers and vendors and immediately establish trust and confidence in his/her ability.

• Integrates inter-discipline schedule requirements and constraints to establish logical work sequences for assigned disciplines or specialities. 
• Review and assess the work sequences with the total project plan. 
• Establishes and implements methods for determining activity durations within assigned disciplines or specialities. 
• Reviews and approves invoice verification for payment based on cost-loaded schedules, as required. 
• Determines critical-path activities for assigned disciplines or specialties, identifies significant activities supporting inter-disciplinary requirements, and identifies critical paths for discipline or specialty work activities.
• Identifies, analyses and monitors schedule deviations for assigned disciplines or specialties including subcontractor submittals and recommends corrective action/work-around solutions for project considerations. 
• Develops and writes the schedule commentary in the monthly progress and similar reports. Identifies and reports activities that have a critical or potential impact on the schedule. 
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate under the direction of the Lead Planner-Scheduler.

• Provide technical advice on matters pertaining to primarily heavy transport and rigging/lifting operations, management of change, deviations and / or non-compliances.
•  Monitor subcontractors’ transportation and lifting method statements to ensure compliance with Project requirements.
• Ensure subcontractors’ lifting activities comply with the project’s Health, Safety, and Environment codes, procedures, and policies.
