Job Description

• Supervise direct workers and provide instructions to subcontractors.
• Coordinate with land surveyors and subcontractors to ensure accurate setting-out work.
• Liaise with the Qualified Person (Supervision) [QP(S)] representative to maintain high standards of workmanship and confirm that work complies with contract specifications for quality control.
• Arrange inspections of site work with the QP(S) representative.
• Organize and supervise housekeeping and safety practices on-site.
• Manage and minimize material wastage and prevent unproductive deployment of workers.
• Report daily manpower and machinery usage to the Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and health policies.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Building, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction site work.
• Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and dependable.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively within tight schedules.

• Able to read construction drawings, and know well the skill of formwork, rebar, concreting, and survey.
• Must know how to prepare the rebar bending schedule for ordering.
• Oversees the day-to-day activities that take place on the worksite.
• Involvement in planning, organizing, and controlling projects.
• Liaising with the main contractor for work coordination.
• Responsible for supervising the workforce while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Manage all on-site matters and assist with technical issues.
• Responsible to lead and manage the structural construction of the projects and ensure safety procedures are met.
• Able to work on a fast-track project with tight deadlines.
• Possess good interpersonal skills, is independent, diligent, and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.
