Key Responsibilities of a CSA Construction Manager:

1. Project Planning and Coordination:Create construction schedules and allocate resources (materials, labor, equipment).
   Estimate costs and manage the budget to avoid overruns.
   
2. Design and Technical Oversight:Ensure designs are accurate, meet codes, and align with client specifications.
   Work closely with engineers and architects to ensure the project is feasible and safe.
   
3. Quality Control and Safety:Monitor construction to ensure quality standards are met.
   Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations on-site.
   
4. Site Supervision:Oversee daily construction activities and manage workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
   Solve problems that arise during construction and monitor progress.
   
5. Stakeholder Communication:Be the main contact for clients, provide updates, and address concerns.
   Coordinate with contractors and keep stakeholders informed with progress reports.
   
6. Risk Management:Identify potential risks and create plans to avoid delays or safety issues.
   
7. Final Inspection and Handover:Inspect the completed work and ensure it meets all requirements before handing over to the client.
   
8. Environmental and Sustainability Considerations:Ensure construction follows sustainable practices and complies with environmental regulations.
   
9. Change Order Management:Manage any changes to the project scope and assess their impact on budget and schedule.
   
10. Training and Development: Provide training for site staff and encourage professional development in CSA areas.

• Operate, maintain and ensure safety while operating the crane.
• Inspect the crane regularly for repair and ensure it is in good working condition for the next day operations.

Requirements:

• Holds a valid Crawler Crane Certificate
• At least 3 years of crawler crane operation experience.

• Lead the tender team to prepare tender submission for new building construction projects.
• Handle tender works and provide the directions on planning, construction technique, quality of tender submission documents, risk and issue management, tender price negotiation with suppliers and subcons for finalization.
• Check tender documents, scope of works, checking the feasibility for qualification, financial criteria.
• Manage the presentations, risk matrix, information to top management to get approval for bidding.
• Prepare technical & commercial bids as per the tender requirements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board.
• At least 7 years as a Project Manager experience in tendering of new Building Construction Projects in Singapore for Mega Projects.
• Strong knowledge in all aspects of construction projects including budgeting, and scheduling and able to understand project implications.
