Job Description & Requirements

• Lead and oversees project execution, monitor site progress, and ensure on-time completion of the project
• Project planning and project management
• Liaise closely with subcontractors, architects, consultants and authorities; set guidelines and provide expertise and supervision to the team.
• Project management, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects.
• Oversee the planning, analysis, recommendations in support of project construction planning, implementation and monitoring work schedules in accordance to the master and detailed work programme.
• Liaise with consultants for technical issues and coordinate with subcontractors on the site activities .
• Assist in developing and implementing corporate construction policies that support project construction.
• Managing interfaces with other contractors working on the project.
• Provide guidance to engineers in relation to construction works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards are maintained site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time
• Manage contractors with a focus on quality, compliance with engineering drawings; applicable code and standards, and construction schedule and cost.
• Prepare report and method statement.
• Monitor ongoing site activities.

Job Requirements:

• Exposure into Building Construction RC Project is an advantage
• Be dynamic, self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
• Extensive experience in construction industry and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-plan and prepare detailed construction schedules, ensuring effective coordination of all project activities.
• Monitor and report on both on-site and off-site project management, ensuring adherence to schedules and milestones.
• Prepare and submit progress reports as required by consultants and clients, ensuring all stakeholders are updated on project status.
• Analyze and review project specifications, including civil/structural, architectural, and M&E drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Conduct regular monitoring of construction work activities, preparing daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant construction methods, materials, and BCA (Building and Construction Authority) regulations.
• Perform site inspections and quality control to guarantee construction meets project specifications and standards.
• Manage site logistics, resource allocation, and troubleshooting of issues that may arise during construction.
• Daily sea travel to island work sites is mandatory.

Requirements:

• Relevant project experience in dredging, reclamation, or near-shore construction is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of marine construction processes, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, including contract law and legal principles.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and BCA regulations.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenges efficiently.
• Ability to travel daily to island work sites.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and organize customer visit/meeting to close new sales to achieve sales target
• Develop and maintain strong business relationship with existing/new customers
• Develop sales and marketing strategies with action plan to penetrate into new markets
• Source and develop new customer accounts and expand business opportunities
• Analyze market trends, competitor offerings and keep abreast of latest market development

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years of M&E working experience in building/construction industry
• Must be bilingual abilities with strong skills in multiple languages to liaise with relevant counterparts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
• Good in documentation, presentation, coordination, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Possess own vehicle would be an added advantage
• Willing to travel to various job sites
