- Salary range: S$6,500.00 - S$9,000.00
Job Purpose
The person in this position is responsible for oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a diaphragm wall project. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project from start to finish, ensuring that the work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver a successful project
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the planning, execution and completion of diaphragm wall construction projects.
- Oversee the design, development and approval of construction plans and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental and legal regulations on-site.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks and make necessary adjustments to meet timelines.
- Manage project budget, including cost control, procurement and resource allocation.
- Prepare regular reports on project status, including schedule, financial performance and risk management.
- Resolve any project-related issues, conflicts and technical challenges.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns and ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure the proper documentation and filing of all project-related activities and approvals.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in construction project management, specifically diaphragm wall construction
- Proven track record managing large-scale civil or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with local building regulations, environmental and safety standards
- Strong Knowledge of diaphragm wall construction techniques and equipment
- Proficient in project management software
- Knowledge of budgeting, cost control and financial management of projects
- Experience working with government agencies or large infrastructure clients;
- Required to travel to construction sites and work in both office and field environments.
