• Lead and manage a team of workers (welders, machine operators, and general workers).

2. Production Management:

• Oversee the prefabrication process for components.
• Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to meet deadline.
• Ensure timely delivery of prefabricated components to site.

3. Safety and Compliance:

• Work closely with the Safety Officer to enforce strict safety protocols and conduct regular safety training.
• Ensure adherence to building codes and local regulations.

4. Quality Control:

• Inspect prefabricated components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.

5. Inventory & Material Management:

• Manage materials and tools, ensuring proper use and minimizing waste.
• Coordinate material stock levels and report shortages.

6. Collaboration:

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align on project requirements.
• Address technical or logistical issues as they arise in prefabrication or delivery.

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in prefabrication construction such ss precast concrete, structural steel, or modular building systems, with at least 3 to 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership, good communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards, construction materials, and prefabrication techniques.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related fields preferred.

Other requirements:

• Physically fit, as the role may require lifting and manual labour.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• knowledge of construction scheduling and project management tools is a plus.

Job Description

• Oversee various stages of full project deliveries covering requirements gathering and analysis, design, construction, delivery, integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance services
• Map out the overall project management plan and ensure that the roles and responsibilities, objectives, commitment, deliverables, schedule, and risks are clearly defined and communicated to team members and customers
• Establish a risk management plan for a structured approach to identify and review potential risks and mitigation actions
• Manage project budget and costs with the objective of maximizing revenue and margin achievements.
• Establish a project execution plan and schedule for tracking of deliverables within the scheduled milestones
• Build a high-performance delivery team, comprising both onsite and offshore resources, and provide effective leadership for the team members
• Oversee the entire project delivery life cycle within scope, schedule, and budget
• Maintain a pro-active and responsive relationship with all stakeholders, both internal management and customers, to provide regular and accurate progress updates, problem reporting and resolution processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Min Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental Engineering (Degree must be recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore)
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in the implementation and management of qualify control systems
• Hands-on” attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills
• Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP, CITPM, etc) is preferred
• Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

• Make orders for construction materials and other items as requested.
• Ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Ensure all delivery orders are in accordance to PO and verification of DO for preparation of payment.
• Call for quotations and source for new supplies if need and recommendation of award.
• Work closely with site team for material purchases.
• Process and generate PO/RO
