• Lead and manage the crew during vessel operations, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Collaborate with project teams to align vessel activities with project requirements.

4. Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Prepare and submit operational and safety reports as required.

M&E Coordinator

Work Location: Changi Naval Base, Project Office at Geylang

Working days: 5.5 days 8am to 5pm, Alternate Saturday full day

Salary: $3000 to $4500 (depends on experience)

Requirements

Diploma/Degree/Construction Management or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.

Experience in a marine construction company is favourable.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCAD.

Job scope

Participate in project meetings and propose improvements if necessary.

Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.

Plan and manage team goals, project schedules and new information.

Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.

Manage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored (MOS, ITP, RA, safe work procedures).

Assist manager preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.

Communicate with contractors to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.

Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measures.

Able to coordinate site work within trade contractors.

Able and assist to prepare SD (coordinated shop Drawing) of M&E trades.

Able to produce 2 weeks Look Ahead program or schedule.

Able to conduct or lead site walk and presentation.

Able to identify deviation of work within M&E work scopes.

Able to prepare, conduct inspection and track progress.

Able to conduct morning Tool Box meeting.

Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
