• Client & Consultant Interaction: Act as the primary quality liaison with clients and consultants, updating them on QA/QC matters and addressing quality concerns directly related to CONQUAS scoring.

3. Reporting & Documentation

• Quality & CONQUAS Reports: Prepare quality and assessment reports, including checklists and summaries that reflect compliance with CONQUAS scoring standards, inspection records, and non-conformance resolutions.

6. Qualifications

• Coordinate with all the parties including sub-contractors and consultants to solve and coordinate technical issues.
• Production and maintaining of drawings from BIM (Revit) model and ensure proper transmission of data to all parties involved.
• Ensure that the detailed schedules of drawing production and site progress are met.
• For quality management, the coordinator is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Transform AutoCAD drawings into 3D drawings.
• Ensure BIM standards and Level of Development (LOD) are followed.
• Supervise site works according to the quality and EHS requirements.
• Handle all inspections and handing over process with the final objective of achieving customer satisfaction and high Conquas/QM score.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Architecture / Engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in BIM Drafting (Architectural or M&E)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Study tender specifications and drawings
• Evaluate tenders and cost estimates
• Sourcing and comparing cost and pricing
• Prepare tender documents, costing, tender evaluation, and contract administration
• Prepare quotations to clients, ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bid
• Responsible for controlling costs, budget management, evaluation of price comparison, and costing summary
• Identify and prepare variation orders (VO), monthly reports for progress payment claims
• Attend tender interviews/meetings and liaise with main contractors, subcontractors and project team
• Attend site show-round to investigate site conditions, engineering and technical matters to achieve higher accuracy in BOQ
• Co-ordinate with clients, quantity surveyors, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to clarify technical matters to support/assist tendering process
• Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Skills & experience required

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Quantity Surveying
• Experience in QS (Electrical) in Construction industry
• Proficient in MS office applications and AutoCad knowledge
• Positive working attitude
• Meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, good team player, and able to meet tight deadlines

Job Description

• Review and interpret all relevant drawings, specifications and reports;
• Handle full scope of Quantity Surveyor duties which includes material take-off and variations i.e. Structural works; Piping works; Electrical and Instrumental works; Mechanical and Equipment works; Painting works
• Able to understand the Project contract documents and inform and assist site team for the cost estimate for any additional works
• Prepare the commercial tenders, including material take-off, preparation of BQs and technical queries
• Analyse tender pricing and prepare contractors’ bill of quantities
• Manage all related stakeholder liaison activities with a range of interested parties i.e. contractors, subcontractors, consultants and authorities on the project including but not limited to Contracts & Legal Department, Engineering Department and External Consultants;
• Prepare monthly progress claims to client
• Manage subcontractor and vendor claims
• Manage project timeline and cost

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Quantity Survey, Engineering (Mechanical/Civil).
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the oil and gas industry and familiar with EPC projects
• Meticulous, analytical, eye for details and a good team player
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Prior experience in leading a Quantity Surveyor team will be advantageous and can be considered for a senior role.
• Able to commence on short notice will be preferred
