EVe, a wholly owned subsidiary of Land Transport Authority, is set up to implement and coordinate the deployment of nation-wide network of Electric Vehicle Charging in Singapore and upgrade the electrical infrastructure to support the EVCP deployment primarily in Singapore’s residential carparks.
Job Description and Requirement
Job Summary
· This job scope consists of procurement, tender preparation, calling tenders, managing contracts, and providing professional cost advice throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
A) Tendering and Estimation
· Prepare accurate and comprehensive tender documentation, including bills of quantities, form of tender, etc.
· Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimations
· Analyze tender submissions and make recommendations based on project life cycle cost, quality, and project requirements.
B) Contract Management
· Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory, and contract requirement.
· Monitor contract variations, claims, and progress payments.
· Collaborate with project teams to resolve contractual issues and disputes.
· Provide professional advice and guidance on cost-related matters including identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
· Prepare cost reconciliations and final accounts for completed projects.
C) Procurement
· Provide full spectrum of the procurement services for goods and/or services required by the company
· This would include vendor management, contract management and fair negotiation for the smooth, effective and efficient operations of the company.
· Involve in the sourcing, invitation and monitoring the timeline for evaluation of suppliers’ submissions.
· Advise end users on all procurement matters and ensure end users’ compliance with procurement policy and procedures.
Requirements
· Tertiary education in Quantity Surveying, or related field.
· At least 6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the building/ construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing contracts and calling tenders.
· At least 3 years of relevant experience in Procurement.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, with a high level of accuracy in cost estimation.
· Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, cost benchmarks, and best practices.
· Those with good knowledge of procurement practices and controls will have an added advantage
