As a leader in the medical device industry, you are responsible for ensuring that your products meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance before they reach the market. You oversee the BQ Operation team, which ensures that the manufacturing process is compliant, and that the quality of the products is maintained throughout the incoming inspection. You also ensure the continuous development of your team members and the improvement of the procedures and processes to meet the evolving business needs.
What you will do
- LeadershipDevelop the SG BQ OPS team and ensure their alignment with the company’s vision and goals,
Identify the training needs and development plans for the local team to support their business performance and personal growth.
- Quality OperationManage the SG Quality portfolio and ensure the quality release and qualification of the products locally, including new product introduction (NPI) for the local site,
Document and archive the input from the Quality Improvement Teams and follow up on the actions from the Quality Improvement Team Meeting,
Support the Supplier Quality Management topics for the local suppliers and ensure the incoming inspection as per the group guidance,
Support the NPI/Design Transfer, change control, and complaint investigation processes,
Participate in the local oriented projects such as SMART LEAN.
- Ad Hoc / Personal DevelopmentSupport the APAC countries as required (interface to Philippines), support in audits as required, and pursue personal development opportunities.
- Internal Stakeholders: Various local and global departments from OPS, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, HR, IT, etc.
- External Stakeholders: Customers, 3rd parties and authorities, suppliers, etc.
What you bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing operations
- Proven leadership skills and ability to develop a team
- Internal auditor certification or equivalent auditing experience
