Responsibilities:

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP): Process supplier invoices, payments, and retention sums.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue invoices, track payments, and reconcile retention sums.
• Maintain General Ledger (GL): Record transactions, journal entries, and adjustments.
• Oversee Project Accounting: Monitor expenses, budgets, and prepare profitability reports.
• Perform Cash Flow Management: Manage bank transactions and loan repayments.
• Prepare Financial Reports: Monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Ensure Tax Compliance: Handle GST filings and maintain audit documentation.
• Support Payroll Processing (if required): CPF submissions and statutory compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• SAP is a must

The Business Development Manager is responsible for pursuing sales opportunities to sell Geotechnical Instrumentation and monitoring, Site Investigation, and related testing services to clients across the Construction Industry. Reporting directly to the Sales Director (Asia), the BDM is responsible for driving and achieving growth with High Touch Accounts and by prospecting for new opportunities with new clients. The role is expected to exercise appropriate leadership to maximize team effectiveness working seamlessly with our Quantity Surveyors, lab managers, and operational and leadership teams who all play an active part in sales, alongside the Company's Global Technical Leaders where necessary. The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to progress to a sales responsibility for the full breadth of the company's construction services and beyond. This role is based in Kaki Bukit, Singapore.

Job Duties:

• Establish and proactively maintain a strong professional relationship with key decision makers and influencers within assigned accounts.
• Drive profitable sales expansion with a focus on acquiring new and re-engaging with dormant accounts, while growing existing clients
• Gather and analyze market and industry intelligence, metrics, and trends to determine customer needs.
• Identify opportunities early in the sales cycle to ensure maximum share of wallet for the Company
• Deliver business development related presentations, negotiate, and close business with nominated accounts, working in coordination with colleagues within the local business.

Job Requirements:

• 10 years of commercial client facing experience with Technical and / or Sales responsibilities.
• Degree qualification in a directly related industry is preferred but not essential.
• Experience dealing with / working for Teir 1construction contractors and or consultants preferred
• Knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering or Site investigation would be an advantage
• Some experience in Quantity Surveying &/or Construction Project management a plus
• Experience in interpreting testing procedures and requirements.
• Must have valid Driver’s License, with an acceptable driving record under the Company’s policy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
• Availability, flexibility, and maturity to represent the company at a broad range of events/projects in the community, with customers and within the company.
• Ability to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needs. Good interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communication built on mutual respect.
• Ability to interface with clients, win new work and determine their requirements; helps develops proposals including cost estimates, work plan and terms and conditions.
