Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience Required:

Degree in Civil / Building / QS (Min. 3 years of experience)

Diploma in Civil / Building / QS (Min 5 years of experience)

Skills and Knowledge required:

• Bilingual English/Chinese as you will be liaising with English & Chinese speaking clients & suppliers
• Understanding of construction contracts under Singapore Institute of Architects Articles and Conditions of Building Contract (“SIA Conditions”) and Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (“PSSCOC”)
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by managing and maintaining updated documentation throughout work processes and project life cycles.
• Collaborate with engineering team members to understand their documentation requirements and update the document register database accordingly.
• Manage and organize original documentation based on tracking logs, ensuring proper storage, archiving, and safe-keeping according to operating policies.
• Handle the disposal and retention of documentation based on specific requirements and company policies, assisting with file migrations and audits as needed.
• Compile all necessary documentation for project handover to customers, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare product reports and statistical figures to track work progress, updating the computer dossier spreadsheet accordingly.
• Regularly compile, organize, and update records in the computer system to maintain accurate and readily accessible data.
• File and store records securely, ensuring proper maintenance and organization.
• Provide administrative support to other team members as required, contributing to overall efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Foreman to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects, supervising crews of workers, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The Construction Foreman will work closely with project managers and other team members to coordinate activities, maintain safety standards, and provide direction and support to workers. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, a good understanding of construction processes and materials, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on the construction site.
• Monitor project progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure that workers follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Coordinate and schedule deliveries of materials and equipment to the construction site.
• Communicate with project managers and other team members to provide updates on project status and address issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

• Team lead for construction of FPSO Hull
• Enforcement of QHSE on site
• Planning detailed schedules with accordance to milestones to be achieved
• Closely work with Planning and Control departments for the level 4 plan with accordance to the sequence of works
• Collaborating with Procurement team on the delivery of equipment, including FAT inspections and receiving the items on a “Just In Time” concept
• Study drawings and implement sub assembly concepts to increase construction efficiency
• Execution of day to day jobs on site with relevance to planned schedule
• Liaising with client daily and attend weekly meetings on keeping them up to date on site progress
• Coordination with external vendor on delivery of their equipment
• Ensure experience transfer between projects, operations and discipline network.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related engineering disciplines, Diploma holders with relevant experience are welcomed to apply
• Candidates with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the marine & offshore industry
• Able to station overseas in China
• Able to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment
• Able to motivate in a challenging work environment
• Good in planning, organising, interpersonal skills and able to work independently
