• Monitor and review supplier performance to address non-conforming materials.
• Work closely with production team on internal process and quality issue.
• Coordinate the review of quality procedures and manage the inspection standard on incoming, in process and outgoing inspections.
• Handling customer complaints and ensure all corrective actions to customers are implemented and documented.
• Plan regular internal inspections in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Perform another related task as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• With working experiences from tooling fabrication or plastics injection molding industry preferred

Roles and Responsibilities (Software Quality Engineer)

a. Assist Product Owner, Business Analyst to craft out user story acceptance criteria

b. Analyse and decompose complicated software systems, and design a holistic test strategy

c. Conduct research on emerging technologies and develop test automation framework

d. Develop test suites of test scenarios and test cases

e. Take a risk-based approach for test automation

f. Perform time boxed exploratory testing

g. Maintain regression test suite in QA nightly build

h. Actively refine smoke test suite in Development CI environment

i. Lead system integration testing with other systems

j. Manage user acceptance testing

k. Manage defect life cycle, test artefacts and repository

l. Drive continuous improvement in agile testing practices and tools

m. Take on secondary role as low code application development engineer or Security Ops Engineer

n. Improve software quality using XP practices such as code review and unit testing

o. Understand the IT management policy, quality management policy and security guidelines to ensure the development processes, procedures and system are designed to comply with these policies and guidelines

Knowledge and Skills (Software Quality Engineer)

a. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines.

b. Min 3 years’ experience in exploratory testing and regression test automation

c. Strong analytical skills

d. Meticulous attention to details

e. Good interpersonal skills such as tactfulness

f. Good presentation and listening skills

g. Experience in agile development environment will be an added advantage

h. Experience with Robot Framework, SikuliX, Selenium, playwright, Micro Focus Testing Tools (Mobile Center, UFT, QC and Sprinter) or EggPlant or Pega Unit Test will be an added advantage

i. Certified Software Testing Professional and/or Certified Software Quality Analyst will be an added advantage
