Job Description

i) To work with the PM to comply with environmental, health & safety (EHS) laws laws, advise PM on environmental remediation measures, carry out site inspections and to engage workers and stakeholders on maintaining good environmental health standards

• Makes daily spot checks and inspections of work tools, equipment and site and takes the necessary actions towards correcting any seen hazards.

Job Scope

1. Perform Quantity take-off for tendering of projects.
2. Prepare BQ, tender document, cost comparison for tender project including source, compiles, evaluates, and negotiate price with suppliers and sub-contractors according to tender requirements.
3. Prepare and assist in project final account.
4. Prepare project costing in the bidding process.
5. Prepare and submit project claims and ensure that claim forms are signed by client within the specified period. (SOP 3 working days)
6. Initiate and assist in project cost planning control and budget estimation.
7. Project administration and documentation include preparation of sub-contract, VO, and ensure timely submission of monthly progress claims, and final account.
8. Collect, organize and keep records of relevant forms and documents required for project claim purpose. (Including variation orders and correspondences)
9. Follows up effectively on payment certificate and payment with the clients.
10. To handle on-going project and resolve contractual issues with clients.
11. Carry other contracts and administration tasks or other assigned duties as required.

Procurement

1. Negotiate with vendors and acquiring the goods and services for the best price available.
2. Review purchase orders prepared by subordinates to ensure purchases are valid.
3. Maintain the records concerning the purchase of materials.
4. Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively.
5. Building strong working relationships with key suppliers.
6. Provide products specification and rate to the relevant department.
7. Monitor purchases made are within the sales contracts or quotation.

• Responsible for general office management and operations coordination.

• Prepare invoicing & support for accounts department.

• Keep up to date the office general filling system.

• Manage reception and incoming outgoing mails & courier service.

• Work as a team with the office to accomplish related results as needed.

Requirements

• Basic computer knowledge required.

Job Description:

• Experience in handling full set of accounts.
• Ensure month-end and yearly closing deadline are met.
• Responsible for preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Responsible for the full spectrum of Accounts payables and Accounts receivable.
• Prepare Quarterly GST Submissions
• Liaise with Commercial Department on projects invoicing & Work in progress.
• Assist in yearly audit, handle audit queries.
• Assist to verify staff claims for reimbursement.
• Prepare and analyse project budget and forecast reports.
• Liaise with external auditors and provide the required support to the auditors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement:

• Hold a bachelor degree in accountancy/ finance or equivalent.
• IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual language will be an advantage as we need to oftenly and effectively communicate with overseas stakeholders.
• Have experiences in working in large scale projects.
