The Quality QAQC Supervisor is responsible for ensuring timely and effective implementation of the company's policies, procedures, and standards involved in assuring the quality of manufactured products and customer satisfaction, as well as for conducting quality control activities. The Quality Supervisor strives to ensure the facility adheres to quality licenses, standards and certifications.

A successful candidate will collaborate closely with functional areas such as Manufacturing, Procurement, Mfg. Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, Product Lines, R&M and Geozones regularly as well as presenting to internal teams plans and updates.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel.
• Maintain site Quality Management System.
• Update QMS records and maintain all necessary documentation and certificates.
• Responsible for following management of change as processes and procedures are updated as per QMS requirements.
• Perform regular process audits in Manufacturing areas and functional areas, including technical work instructions, processes, procedures, and competence and ensure compliance.
• Generate CARs related to any deficiencies and track them to completion.

• Coordinate with product design engineers and manufacturing engineers the requirements in the quality plans and inspection and test plans to be aligned with their engineering design criteria, production schedules and customer requirements.
• Coordinate quality assurance plans for new PNs/product introductions.
• Review and approval purchased materials/products mill test certificates if it complies with the required company specifications and/or applicable industry standards prior to acceptance and use.
• Ensure quality control inspection and testing activities are performed in accordance with Global MFG QMS, customer QCPs/Inspection matrices, and/or local procedires and work instructions.
• Manage non-conformance process in accordance with Global MFG QMS.
• Identify a minimum of two continuous improvement projects per year to lead and complete with measurable improvement to the business in terms of margin, quality, etc
• Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by his direct supervisor within the timeframe specified safely and efficiently to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfil these.

• Candidates with experience in Revit / Navisworks will have added advantage

• Establish new and maintaining existing relationships with customers.
• Manage and interpret customer requirements and calculate quotations for clients.
• Perform pre-sales technical assistance and product education.

Job responsibilities:

• Review and revise the Safety Management System for continual improvement.
• Review, establish and upkeep the Safe Work Procedure and Risk Assessment for the main contractor, sub-contractors.
• Conduct safety training related to the activity based on Safe Work Procedure / Risk Assessment.
• Ensure risk assessments for all work activities are conducted and propose recommendation and also, review them when necessary.
• Conduct monthly WSH Committee Meeting and put up safety reports including safety indices.
• Conduct monthly Mass Toolbox Meeting and Daily Toolbox Meeting.
• Enforce house rules on all stake holders and take action when necessary for non-compliance.
• Work closely with the project team to eliminate security, safety, health and environment hazards.
• Establish, review, update and improve Workplace Safety And Health (WSH) procedures, measures and policies in accordance to statutory requirements.
• Ensure legal compliance to all statutory safety and environmental regulations and timely submission of mandatory documents.
• Monitor, update and improve company's BizSafe, safety management system, safety manual.
• Conduct investigations of WSH infringements and industrial accidents and recommend remedial actions.
• Facilitate and conduct internal auditing, to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
• Responsible for all incidents reporting and investigation.
• Lead and manage emergency situation.
• Lead and manage the project safety personnel.
• Lead and manage site WSH matters for both, the company and sub-contractors.
• Guide and train the Site Emergency Response Team (SERT) and also, organize drills.
• Conduct safety related training for the staff and sub-contractors including foreign workers.
• Liaise with MOM, NEA, PUB and other relevant authorities on all WSH issues.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Occupational Health, Safety, Engineering or relevant field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• MOM registered WSH Officer and Fire Safety Officer
• NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO)
• Certificate in QEHS Internal Auditing (ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001)
• Familiar with regulatory requirements related to workplace safety and health, and all other aspects of safety
• Possess high level of initiative, strong interpersonal and communication skills
