Job Responsibilities:

1. Safety Coordinator

• First point of contact for all marine safety related matter.
• Coordinate with external WSHO in implementing and improving overall marine safety processes.

a) Purchase Request

• Liaise with the procurement department to ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase requests.
• Track and organize purchasing requests for materials, equipment, and services required for the marine dredging project.
• Ensure proper documentation of purchase orders, vendor agreements, and delivery schedules.

b) Vessel Inventory

• Maintain accurate records of equipment and material inventories used on the dredging site.
• Update and monitor stock levels, ensure proper documentation of items received, issued, and used.
• Assist in inventory audits and ensure proper storage and handling of materials as per safety guidelines.

4. Document Control

• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all technical specifications, engineering drawings, safety guidelines, and environmental assessments related to marine dredging projects.

• PE Board Recognised Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of design management experience with at least 1 year of design experience in consultant firm.
• Strong coordination and collaboration with other disciplines.

Project Coordinator involves in the day-to-day operations of the projects by organizing and communicating the details related to a specific assignment or task while serving as an interface between team members.

Job Description:

• Responsible to the project stakeholders for accomplishing the project objectives within the constraints such as project scope, time, cost and quality of the project.
• Coordinate and supervise the work activity on site, monitor the daily progress and keep track based on schedule
• Liaise with clients, consultants and main / sub-contractor on project coordination
• Carry out site inspection, analyse and resolve the site problem
• Carry out visual inspection on all installed components of structures
• Ensure the project complies with regulations and clients’ specifications
• Adhere to safety and health regulations and aim for zero accident in the workplace
• Ensure safety and housekeeping is to maintained to the highest standard
• To perform Ad-Hoc duties as per assigned

The Assistant QA/QC Manager reports to the Project Manager and the role involves in ensuring that the processes, products, or services meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. This role is critical to ensure safety, reliability and performance in meeting the project deliveries.

• Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) to ensure consistency in standards, procedures, and guidelines in meeting the Project Quality Management System (PQMP) to prevent defects during construction processes.
• Communicate all updates to relevant stakeholders and control the distribution of PQMP documents
• Ensure Sub-Contractors and Suppliers comply with Project’s QA/QC requirement, provide briefing and training if required.
• Carry out audit processes, review procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO and PQMP
• Carry out various inspections and tests on the materials, products and components during various stages and completion of construction.
• Carry out actual inspection, testing and verification of the finished products to identify defects and ensure it meets the required standards.
• Identify areas for process improvements, implement best practices and ensuring ongoing compliance.
• Maintain records of inspection results, deviations and corrective actions taken to ensure traceability and accountability.
• Initiate corrective actions to resolve the issue and revent recurrence when defects or non-conformities are found.
• Review client’s complaints relating to QA/QC matters
• Collaborating with construction team and other department (eg. Procurement, Technical Departments) to implement quality improvements.
• Preparing and maintaining detailed reports on quality performance.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with project teams on drawings and documents for issue and filing.
• Develop and collaborate in Building Information Modelling (BIM) using Revit software, generate and edit AutoCAD 2D Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) engineering drawings for submission, adhering to established specifications and standards.
• Assist in engineering related documentation/ administration and any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Technical Certicate (ITE-NTC2) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 years' relevant working experience in drafting using AutoCAD and BIM/ Revit software.
• Familiarity with standard M&E installation details and requirements.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Good organizational, problem solving and communication skills.
• Training provided for fresh graduates with no experience.
