Scope of Works:

The duties and responsibilities of the Science Laboratory Assistant:

1. Prepare teaching resources for Science lessons, EE/LLP level programmes, E2K enrichment classes, i.e., packing of materials needed for experiments, setting up of, clearing away and cleaning of experimental set-ups and /or demonstration apparatus as instructed by the Level Reps and Science teachers;

2. Prepare resources for the conduct of Science Practical Tests and maintain examination integrity;

3. Ensure the maintenance (daily cleanliness and upkeep) and safety requirements of the following Special Rooms / Spaces under the Science Department;

• - Ensure that chemicals are labelled properly in accordance to GHS in Chapter9.

PART B

• - Maintain laboratory equipment, apparatus, PPE, materials and specimens in good working condition.

• - Check that safety devices in the laboratory, such as emergency eyewashers, showers and fire extinguishers, are in working condition.
• - Inspect gas and water systems and initiate necessary repair or maintenance work.
• - Maintain a record or file of the Safety Data Sheets (SDS) that accompany purchased chemicals (see also Section 11.3.1. on the classification of hazardous chemicals).
• - Keep a stock book and breakage record and indicate necessary replacement.
• - Prepare an inventory of stocks annually.

• - Check and replenish first aid supplies (see Annex B for the minimum contents of a First Aid Kit).

The Division currently manages 108 teaching laboratories. To work with teacher producer(s) to plan, block, direct, rehearse, teach and run one full length theatre production of 2-3 hours runtime per year, including working with teacher producer(s) on sets, props, costumes, lighting and sound. The performance should be of a published script (or double bill of published scripts) at a suitable level for Secondary students, e.g. Shakespeare in the original language, youth theatre pieces of an appropriate level with adequate literary and dramatic content.

Scope and responsibilities of Second Coach:

1. The coach is responsible for equipping new rugby members (P3 students) with basic rugby skills and preparing them to join the competitive team the following year.
2. The coach is responsible to train and engage a group of up to 40 students – which includes new members from the P3 level, as well as recreational members from P4-P6, for the induction and skills training for pupils who are not in the competitive team, during curriculum time only.
3. To collaborate with the Main Coach and assist the teacher-in-charge in identifying suitable students to play for the school competitive rugby team.

Scope of Works:

1. To provide input to existing Dance student development plan and co-design the plan with key personnel and/or teachers.

2. Student development plan should comprise a mix of face-to-face, synchronous and asynchronous activities

3. To work with the teacher in-charge to motivate students and equip them with life skills and values.

4. To develop students’ passion in the activity.

5. To prepare students for school performances.

Requirement:

1. All instructors must be registered with MOE as CCA Dance Instructors
2. The Instructor must have experience in teaching/ coaching Dance CCA and e - CCA in Schools.
3. The Instructor must be able to plan and execute training plan and motivate the pupils toward achieving their full potential such as external competition e.g. SYF presentation.
4. The Instructor must be able to communicate and work well with the pupils and the school teachers.

Deployment:

Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4:15 pm, inclusive of 45 mins

lunch break

Fridays: 7.00am to 3:45pm, inclusive of 45 mins lunch break

Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public

holidays

Scope of Works:

Provide administrative support to the teachers

Administrative duties will generally include

1. Preparation and verification of documents

2. Maintaining and updating of detention records and data

3. Compilation of statistics

4. Filing and typing

5. Supervising and monitoring of detention classes and monitoring

of students on in-house suspension

Provide support to Operations Manager (OM) and AMs during school

holidays

Responsibilities:

1. The primary role is to serve our salespersons or clients at the customer service counter or reception counter.

2. Process documents, collect commission (cash, cheque or online payments), sale of merchandise, use POS system, and handle office equipment (nets/credit card machines, copier machines, and computer terminals at the free seating area).

3. Data entry using our in-house systems (REMSPlus2, Admin module, e-submission) and using external systems (IRAS, HDB, CEA).

4. Manage walk-ins, emails, and telephone enquiries.

5. Frank mail and deposit at SingPost.

6. Collect and distribute mail.

7. Open and close the office, meeting rooms and training rooms.

8. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned.

Requirements:

1. GCE ‘O’ Level and above.

2. Preferably someone who has work experience in customer service duties.

3. Excellent phone etiquette and possess good communication skills.

4. Ability to multitask and handle high volume of customers efficiently.

5. Computer literate in Microsoft Office.

6. Preference will be given to candidates who are available immediately or within short notice.

7. Need to be able to commit from 2 December 2024 to 30 April 2025.
