Position Available: Project Officer

We are looking for a Project Officer to assist in an RNA biology and cancer epigenetics project. The role will focus on performing a variety of cell and molecular biology, transcriptomics and genomics experiments including molecular cloning, PCR, western blotting, nucleic acids isolation, lentiviral production and transduction, chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP) and next generation sequencing library preparation. We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to support the work of the SDO.

Core expertise:

Project management responsibilities include managing the identification, development and promotion of standards meeting key requirements set by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG). These include supporting standards committees under the management of ERI@N in their standard development and promotion work to ensure timely and successful delivery of new and reviewed standards. Requirements

• Accounting Degree, Partial ACCA or other relevant qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts with reputable companies
• Proficient in MS Excel, Words, PowerPoint & etc
• Good communication, organization and administration skills
• Hand-on experience in Navision accounting software is an advantage
• Experience in construction industry is an advantage

Job Description

• Provide administrative and contractual support and maintain all required project information throughout each project for claim purposes to ensure that the claim data are up-to-date and comprehensive.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foreman to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare progressive claims and potential variaton claims at regular intervals of the project.
• Maitaining proper documentation of correspondence from contract award to job completion to ensure all relevant claims are lodged accordingly to the client timely.
• Ensure proper closing-out of project account finalization.

Job Specification

• At least a degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of Singapore based Quantity Surveyor working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Candidate with experience in Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) will be preferred.
• Willing to work in the West.
• Remuneration will be commensurate in according to working experience.
