• Conduct inspection and check as required under Authority Operational and Safety requirements.
• Conduct compliance check on the implementation of mitigating measures in method statement, risk assessment and DfS register.
• Ensure that records of all civil and structural engineering works, mechanical and engineering works including records of tests, defect rectification, inspections, work progress, material and equipment on site, safety, etc, are updated in a timely manner and properly kept,
• Maintain proper and updated daily records of all works done including records of tests, inspections, status of work, variation works, tests, inspections, work progress, safety, site diary, material on site and equipment on site, labour force, day works, provisional items or provisional quantities etc,

Job Requirements:-

• Minimum five (5) years of experience as RTO, of which at least two (2) years shall be in supervision of works similar in nature to the Works
• Diploma in Civil or Structural engineering from a recognized tertiary institution or relevant qualifications.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
• Have a certificate in Workplace Safety and Health Management in Construction Industry or equivalent.
• Possess good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Review electrical engineering drawings and refer issues requiring changes.

Assign job tasks and work as per electrical project schedules.

Review all electrical drawings with Leadmen performing on assigned jobs to them.

Stimulate fabrication standards to ensure quality work attained from assigned staff.

Recruit, guide, train, monitor and terminate assigned employees as required.

Recommend effective solutions specified particular weight related to employment status of employees.

Schedule, assign, plan and supervise electrical shop personnel performance on different electrical projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• To assist the Facilities Executive on matters relating to the security within the DC.
• He/She shall lead a team of technicans, outsourced security officers and housekeepers to ensure the smooth operations of day-to-day building's operations.
• He/She shall provide solutions to preventive and corrective maintenance of building facilities and fire protection facilities and equipment at all times
• He/She may be cross-deployed to support other DCs/warehouses whenever needed. As a Supervisor, he/she shall always be on standby 24/7, ready to respond to crisis and emergency.

• A minimum of 'O' Level and above is preferred. Candidates with qualification below 'O' level should come with relevant working experiences
• Minimally 2 years of leading a team in any facilities settings
• Relevant knowledge in logistics or warehousing facilities will be advantageous
• Must possess a valid PLRD security license
• Preferably trained in CERT, First Aid and AED

• Work location: 37 Joo Koon Circle
• Working arrangement: 5 days work week including public holiday and weekend, rotating shifts (7:30am - 5pm/ 12:30 - 10pm / 1:30 - 11pm).
• The position would need to attend to urgent matters outside of working hours too.
