Roles & Responsibilities

• To display a hands-on approach at all times to unite staff and guide them to ensure compliance with all food and beverage promotions, Company SOP including POS operations and cash handling practices, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• To plan, guide advise and instruct team members (Service Crew & Captain) in the daily operational duties.
• To coach and ensure that the Captains and Service crew are able to carry out all their duties as stipulated in their job Descriptions.
• To ensure adequate and accurate placement of stock orders for operations use while being mindful of wastage and breakage.
• To handle all situational issues/problems with both boutique corporate and individual guests professionally.
• To conduct staff orientation & on-the-job Training (OJT) whenever required.
• To perform all POS and bar duties, opening or closing shift duties as a Shift-in-Charge (SIC) and ensure proper handover of shift such as store transaction keys, debrief on happenings, etc.
• To lead and manage-by-example in accordance with Company SOP, and rules and regulations for the following:Customer service
  Cashiering Duties
  Beverage preparation and bar duties
  Staff grooming
  Punctuality & attendance
  
• To take charge and be responsible for the overall boutique cleanliness and housekeeping.
• To conduct daily briefing and staff deployment.
• To lead and motivate the team (Service Crew & Captain) towards achieving their individual and boutiques shift sales and up-sell sales target as set by the Outlet Manager.
• To achieve a minimum score of 90% for the monthly BQC (Boutique Quality Checklist) appraisal (team effort).
• To attend weekly Managers Meeting in HQ when assigned.
• To stand in as Head-of-Boutique in the absence of an Asst. / Outlet Manager.
• Any other appropriate duties & responsibilities as assigned by Superior or Senior Management.

• Organise outreach events (in-house or with partners) to residents in Active Ageing Centre (AAC) service boundary with an aim to assess seniors using the Community Screener Tool to identify at-risk individuals.
  Organise programmes (eg activities, functional screening) to improve improve health outcomes - physical health, mental wellness and social capital.
  Support seniors to plan, coordinate and activate their neighbours in championing and participating in AAC programmes.
  Manage befriending and buddying programme to isolated seniors with proper monitoring and record keeping.
  Manage donations, volunteers and community partners as needed.
• Maintain AAC volunteer database and conduct volunteer orientation and training.
• Build up network with community agencies (e.g. Silver Generation Office, Social Service Office) to provide seamless referral of services for seniors.
• Lead administration and operations in AAC to ensure smooth operations and environmental safety.
• Assist to train and manage a team of staff in AAC to maintain a safe and motivating workplace.
• Assists Centre Manager with recruitment, hiring and training and operation matters for the centre.
• Assist in development of standard operating procedures, contingency and emergency planning.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports, claims, documentations or statistics to stakeholders.
• Review AAC policies and processes when required.
• Ensure cost effectiveness of centre operations, coordinate facility repairs, maintenance of equipment and related documentation in a timely manner. Purchasing of centre supplies, handling suppliers, vendors and contractors.
• Provide cross coverage to colleagues or deployment to other centres when need arises.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Social Work, Nursing or Healthcare related with at least 3 years of experience in senior, social or health care setting Esp in Active Aging related
• Patient, approachable and enjoy working with seniors, family members and peers of different age groups.
• Strong work ethic, reliable, able to handle stress with a pleasant disposition and positive attitude.
• Willing to work staggered shifts according to Centre operating hours and overtime when required
• Mon to Thurs: 8am to 5.30, Fri: 7.30am to 5pm
• North East
