Job Description:

As a Data Engineer Intern (Equipment Health Analytics), you will develop data architecture and infrastructure for industrial IoT data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and maintain scalable and reliable data storage and data pipeline. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with innovative technologies and make a meaningful impact in a fast-evolving industry and is ideal for candidates with strong data engineering skills and interest in AI applications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement multi-tenant data architecture for equipment sensor data.

2. Implement and maintain storage solutions across cloud and on-premises systems.

3. Build data quality validation frameworks and metadata management systems.

4. Document technical processes and data flows.

Requirements / Qualifications:

· Minimum Poly, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

· Self-motivated learner who quickly adapts to new tools and technologies.

· Strong problem solver with proven ability to complete complex tasks.

· Detail-oriented with high standards for work quality.

· Excellent communicator and team collaborator.

· Internship duration should be at least 3 months full time.

· Resume should indicate your forecasted internship dates.

Required Skill Sets:

· Python programming

· SQL and NoSQL databases

· Message queues or Redis

· Storage solutions: Cloud (Azure Blob, AWS S3) or On-premises (Ceph, MinIO)

· Data lake concepts and implementations

· Linux shell scripting and system administration

· Knowledge of the following is a plus:

- IoT data and manufacturing processes

- Basic understanding of data security principles

- Familiarity with DevOps practices

Safety Officer (Reporting to: Project Manager)

Salary: $4500 to $5000

Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 44hrs a week

(candidates should be prepared for potential adjustments to the schedule based on project needs or operational requirements)

Location: Tanah Merah [Transport Provided from Punggol MRT]

Job Summary: As the main contractor’s Safety Officer, you will report to the Project Manager and be responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant construction site. Your duties include developing and enforcing safety protocols, conducting regular inspections, facilitating training programs, and fostering a culture of safety among all personnel. You will also liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with Singapore’s Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Inspections: Conduct safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with WSH regulations. Perform periodic safety audits and document findings.

Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential hazards, develop control measures, and monitor risk assessments regularly to ensure ongoing safety.

Training and Education: Organize and deliver safety training programs, including toolbox meeting and emergency response drills, ensuring all personnel understand safety protocols and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Incident Management: Investigate accidents and near-misses to determine causes, recommend preventive measures, and prepare detailed incident reports for management and relevant authorities.

Safety Protocols: As the main contractor's Safety Officer, you will implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring they are updated to reflect any changes in regulations or company policies. You will also liaise with regulatory bodies, such as the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), to guarantee compliance with all statutory requirements, reinforcing a commitment to safety at the Main Contractor level.

Emergency Preparedness: Develop and maintain emergency response plans, conducting regular drills to ensure site readiness.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, safety training sessions, incident reports, and risk assessments. Prepare monthly safety performance reports.

Communication: Act as a point of contact for safety-related concerns, facilitating clear communication between management and workers to promote a culture of safety.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Valid Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) certification recognized by MOM, with additional certifications in risk management, fire safety, first aid, being advantageous.

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry, with a strong understanding of WSH regulations in Singapore.

• Excellent knowledge of construction site safety practices and legal requirements.

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
