* Ensure and conduct daily toolbox meetings at worksite.

* Conduct safety training / briefing such as familiarization on Risk Management’s standardize procedures to the respective site team

* Establish quality safety management policies and procedures.

* Ensure Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is applied within site at all time.

* Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations.

* Responsible for effective site administration which includes site safety and control of materials on site.

* Perform any other duties as assigned by Project Manager / Superior.

Requirements

* Min. Diploma in engineering on electrical / mechanical

* Possess a valid registration with MOM.

* Familiar with ISO documentation

* Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in construction industry

* Self-driven and able to work within tight deadlines and shift work, if required

* Able to work independently with positive attitude

* Possess good leadership and organisation abilities

* Good communication and computer literate

* A team player who is hands on and meticulous in his work

* Experience in both Pre and Post Contract Able to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications. Provide AutoCAD support in the form of sketches, shop drawings or construction drawings.

* Estimate the quantity and costs of materials

* Prepare contracts and documents.

* Set budgets for payments, inventory needs, and materials

* Analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs

* Track changes in plans or constructions; update budgets

* Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.

* Hire and document contractors and subcontractors

* Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers

* Keep track of construction materials and inventory

* Identify potential financial or construction risks

* Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs

* Prepare payments for contractors and subcontractors

* Analyse completed projects to determine ROI and compare costs

* Preferably specialized in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

* Responsible for cost estimating, quantity take off, claims preparations, variations and final accounts.

* General contracts administration, review of contracts, prepare tender and contract documentations, tender analyses and reporting, measurements, etc.

* Review sub-contractors claims and materials planning delivery on site.

* Ad hoc duties assigned by QS Manager

Job Requirements

* At least 1-2 Years of working experience in Singapore in the related field is required for this position.

* Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.

* Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

* Required Skill(s): Microsoft Office such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Power Point.

* Excellent negotiating, interpersonal skills, time management skills and ability to multi-task.

* Good written and communication both in English and Mandarin.

* Able to communicate in multi-languages will be added advantageous.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
