Roles & Responsibilities

• Able to work under sun and night shift work at jobiste
• To supervise workers at jobsite
• Liaise with maincon supervisor
• Excellent structure construction skills, rebar work skill or formwork skill as a rebar supervisor or formwork supervisor.
• Keep track of the site schedule to ensure works are on time.
• Able to understand Architectural and structural drawings and Calculation of Site Materials
• Liaise with QS to monitor work schedule and claim or VOs.
• Manage issues on site and resolve them
• Report to Project Manager on site matters and progress of work
• Attend to Site Meetings
• Compliance to safe work procedures

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ supervisor experience in Structure Construction is required
• Must possess Certificates of Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course or Formwork Safety Course for Supervisors.
• Be able to speak and write Chinese.

Job Description:

• Primarily to be involved in quantity take-off
• Study tender/contract drawings and specifications – highlight discrepancies, seek clarification in the case of lack of or unclear information, etc.
• Assist in the liaison with suppliers/subcons to obtain quotations
• Assist in the analysis of quotations and scope
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standard details and specifications
• Attend site visits if required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quantity surveying or similar role (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Familiarity with quantity take-off – need to be precise and quick
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in using MS Office, especially MS Excel
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally in the field of quantity surveying
