Part Time Fire Safety Manager

• Conduct monthly fire safety inspection for workplace.
• Correspond with SCDF on all matters pertaining to fire safety within the premises
• Advise company in all submission of fire safety documents to Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) for approval
• Assist in the formation of Emergency Response Teams (ERT) and assist in training for the ERT members

What we are looking for

Requirements

• Registered as Workplace Safety and Health Officer with MOM and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 3 years
• Be conversant with Statutory codes and requirements for safety and health
• Min 5 years of WSH Experience in deep excavation works , preferably 3 years with developer/main contractor
• Min 3 Years of experience in managing a team of site safety personnel
• Certificate in DfS appreciation Course and lifting operations course

• To plan, manage, oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the health, safety and environmental matters for the assigned Project.
• To manage Safey Team to ensure all required duties and responsibilities are discharged professionally and competently.
• To ensure the stipulated number of Personnel are on site throughout the duration of the Contract and ensure its adequacy by monitoring and proposing manpower deployment according to the inspection trend and contractor’s programme

Minimum 10 years of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) experience

in the construction industry, preferably 5 years with developer/main

• Conduct gap analysis on workplace safety, contractor managment & training needs.
• Align company to existing laws for legal complaince
• Implement and review Risk Assessment program pursuance to latest Risk Management Regulations
• Review the effective functioning of WSH Committee in accordance with WSH Act.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and safety gaps.

Job Responsibilities

• Under supervision or independently, carry out design safety philosophies, specifications for fire protection systems (active and passive), and data sheets for firefighting systems
• Develop UFDs and P&IDs for the fire protection systems and carry out fire water/foam demand calculations (including gas suppression systems) and firewater system hydraulic check analysis

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
• Minimum of 7 years of HSE Engineering experience (Process Safety/Risk Analysis/Loss Prevention Engineering) in the Oil and Gas industry
• Experience in design projects for Offshore (FPSO/Platforms) and Onshore (Refineries, LNG facilities, Storage terminals etc) is required
• Possess good knowledge of International Codes and Standards, Regulatory codes and standards (DNV/ ABS) and the ability to influence designs to achieve optimal HSE outcomes
• Familiar with plot plan reviews, HAZID, HAZOP, SIL classification/ verification and other safety reviews (e.g.SIMOPS, ALARP) is preferred
• Good working knowledge of PIPENET, Flaresim and other consequence modelling software such as DNV PHAST etc is required
