Primary Objective
Ensure the safety and well-being of workers at construction sites, carry out duties in a safe and health environment, free from hazards and risks.
Preventing accidents, protecting lives, and promoting a culture of safety within the construction
Job Responsibilities
*Evaluate and inspect the environment, equipment and processes in project sites to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.
*Conduct periodic environment, health and safety audits on site with Project Manager to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards.
*Formulate and administer comprehensive Risk Management and review safe work procedure.
*Investigate accidents to identify their causes and find ways to prevent them in the future.
*Conduct safety related training for the staff and sub-contractors including foreign workers.
*Coordinate implementation of corrective and preventive action.
*Liaise with MOM, NEA, LTA and other government authorities on environment, health and safety matters.
*Other ad-hoc duties assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
*Degree or Diploma in Safety, Engineering or related qualifications with LTA experiences.
*Minimum 5 years of safety experiences in the construction industry.
*Registered WSHO with MOM and ECO with NEA.
*High degree of initiative with strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
*Familiar with LTA, HDB and other safety requirements
