The Youth Worker will play a crucial role in implementing Resilient Minds programs within secondary schools, working closely with at-risk students to provide guidance, support, and a positive, trusting environment. • -Conduct regular one-on-one or small group mentoring sessions to provide socialemotional support and build social-emotional competencies.

3. Partnerships with Stakeholders:

• -Work closely with the Student Development Team in a coordinated approach to monitor and support the well-being of high-need students.

Important note: For both programmes (Detention & Gear-Up) there is a mandatory interview with the school after you are being shortlisted.

Interview will be 30 minutes slot on 23rd December 2024 (2pm - 4pm) or 26th December 2024 (9am - 3pm).

During the interview, the candidates are expected to present their ideas on students engagement and programme for either detention or Gear Up.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience working with at-risk youth, ideally in a secondary school setting.
• Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students.

• Knowledge of mental health practices, resilience-building strategies, and trauma-informed care.
