Strategy & Partnerships (S&P) is one of 3 central business critical departments, alongside Policy & Politics and Global Government Advisory. The S&P department leads and oversees the Institute’s strategic direction and growth, with specific responsibility for future proofing growth, developing scalable partnerships, innovating in tech and securing financial resources to advance the Institute’s operational goals and drive sustainable impact.

Role Summary

We are looking to find a Manager, to be based out of our home offices in Singapore. You should have the right to work in Singapore. Note we will be hiring on a rolling basis and are currently looking for three manager roles in total across London, Accra, Washington DC, Dubai and Singapore, each for a fixed-term contract of 24 months.

In recognition of the growing client interest in solutions delivered with TBI partners, we are looking for talented managers to join a newly formed Partnerships Flex-Pool team. TBI works closely with our government clients and partners to innovate and accelerate delivery of results. We support our clients and partners to develop and activate proof-of-concepts and partner solutions, with an aim of rapid learning and iteration to implement at scale.

The Partnerships Flex-Pool, which this role will form part of, will provide interim, dedicated, in-country support (for deployments of between 3-6 months) to the scoping and delivery of new partnership proof-of-concepts and solutions, helping to pilot, test, deliver and scale. The remaining 6+ months will be spent in the home office, delivering other tasks relating to the activation and scale of partner solutions.

This role is ideal for candidates who have the demonstrated ability to create change through their work with private sector partners and government entities. Candidates must have the ability to operate with clients (together with country teams who hold those relationships) which include Ministers and senior government officials, as well as our tech and non-tech partners. Candidates must also be able to work across TBI with professionalism, confidentiality, integrity and diplomacy.

Candidates should have a significant amount of full-time experience, ideally in operations, project management and delivery, management consulting, tech startup/scaleup, government advisory, and /or the public sector.

Candidates must be willing to travel (up to 50%), as in-country deployments can last anywhere from three to six months in duration. Candidates are expected to do at most two in-country deployments a year. TBI will cover reasonable travel costs in line with policy whilst on deployment. These deployments could be in any of our 40 client governments across the globe. Partnership Proof-of-Concept/Pilot and Partnership Solution Activation (In-Country Deployment)

• Working with our Global Client Services team and Global Partnerships colleagues, support in-country TBI project teams to co-design and deliver partner solutions that leverage TBI's extended capabilities through partnerships, with example tasks below:
• Together with the local country team, engage with senior client counterparts to understand initial requirements and translate these back as needed for partners and internal TBI teams.

About you

• Demonstrated ability as a workstream lead with knowledge and understanding of SAP S/4HANA application-based solutions
• and proficiency in end-to-end integration with other functional modules specifically for SD.
• Prior experience with identifying and addressing client needs by building, maintaining, and utilising networks of client
• relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; and, preparing and/or coordinating complex
• written and verbal materials.
• Ability to develop, implement and support complex business processes in an SAP environment; to design, build, test and
• deploy S/4HANA Finance business including SAP SD solutions
• Strong in problem solving skills and able to understand how business processes work and integrate in multiple technology
• platform environment.
• Minimum 5 years and above of relevant experience in SAP S/4HANA SD, MM,
• capacity in advisory or technology consulting workspace.
• Experienced in managing a team.

Job Description

• Lead in complex project/s throughout the global enterprise,
• Lead in leading project team members in the design, development, and delivery of technology and business solutions.
• Lead to prepare meeting minute, weekly presentation and daily tasks.
• Work closely with the stakeholders, steering committee, resource managers, vendors, business and IT team, senior management and executives across different time-zones.
• Lead to build schedules, establish communication plans, manage risks/issues, and measure or report project results.
• Facilitate creative efforts to resolve issues and develop quality deliverables to achieve corporate objectives.
• Partner with stakeholders and teams to prioritize project requirements and issue resolutions to ensure successful delivery of project scope.
• Lead in requirements gathering, defining functional/systems dependencies and managing the system/(s) implementation.
• Work in close collaboration with global PMO to ensure projects execution follows and adhere to project delivery methodology.

Min. required skills and experience

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project implementation as well as in support projects.
• Able to work independently, given assigned tasks.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables at the same time.
• Tenacious and willing to work extra hours on some occasions, to complete tasks.
• Having SAP ECC6 / S4HANA implementation experience.
• Experience in Project Management with PM Certifications (PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent).
• Have a good knowledge of SAP Standard processes such as SAP Activate methodology.
• Advanced skills in Data & Analytics tools (i.e Excel Pivot, VBA, BI or others).
• Experience in a Professional Services industry and corporate industry.
• Experience with requirements gathering, customer or stakeholder relationship management, issue and risk management, project and organizational change management and IT vendor and partner management.
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure and architectural technology concepts and components would be an advantage
• Drive projects from original concept through final implementation, and smooth handover to on-going support team.
• Good communication skill

Under the Sales Operations Team, the incumbent acts as the primary liaison with insurers and sales consultants in providing hands on end-to-end management of insurance applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Generate highlights/quotes/insurer’s illustrations for sales consultants’ meetings.
• Provide new business sales support and after-sales policy services support for sales consultants.
• Follow internal processes and ensure proper documentation are obtained and filed in CRM
• Co-ordinate pre-case submission tasks - medical bookings, preparing internal KYC documentations and insurer’s application forms.
• Handle new business case submissions to different insurers and work closely with sales consultants to policy inception.
• Handle monthly bank’s reporting.
• Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders and ensure they are answered promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of case management experience with HNW clients preferably in the insurance broking or insurance industry.
• Adapt to using different software to generate insurer’s illustrations.
• Strong understanding of different underwriting requirements from the insurers to submit cases efficiently.
• Has the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.
• Good interpersonal skill with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to work with tight deadlines, producing efficient work in a multi-task environment
