Job Scope

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for a Regional Finance portfolio including review of accounting operations (AR, AP, GL, Travel & Expense, Payroll approval etc), financial and management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, tax, audit, compliance and statutory filing requirements. You will implement cost control measures to manage CAPEX and OPEX, identify cost reduction opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement actions. You will also oversee cash flow and liquidity management, manage relationships with banks, ensure accuracy of payments and ensures prompt collections from customers. You will prepare financial results presentation, weekly and monthly reports for management and commercial teams to have latest information on sales, cost and profitability performance.

• The role of the Private Banking Senior Relationship Manager (SRM) is to understand client requirements across Non Resident Indian (NRI) customer base, ensure superior service and provide regular updates to the client on financial markets developments and on clients’ portfolios
• Acquire High Net-worth Clients & mine existing relationships across NRI customer base
• Facilitate FCNR/ Indian Rupee (INR) deposits as per the applicable product framework as part of overall asset allocation
• Provide appropriate investment advise to the clients based on their needs and risk profile in conjunction with the house views on various products and asset classes
• Conducting financial need mapping of clients to analyze key parameters including risk profile, asset allocation, investment horizon and liquidity needs

• Active review and re-balancing of client's AUM through timely buy/ sell/ hold calls triggered by clients' preferred or recommended allocation
• Responsible for striving towards the AUM Growth & Revenue generation from the relationships with ICICI Bank Private Banking - Singapore
• Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance as laid down by relevant teams/ authorities at all times
• To have a keen understanding and full awareness of, and adherence to, in-country regulatory framework, rules of engagement in the sales and marketing of investment
• Manage Relationship Manager(s) and/ or Customer Service Manager(s) and track their productivity
• Prepare data, presentations and MIS as required by the management on a periodic basis

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate should have 5+ years of relevant banking experience

Overview of the role

You will be accountable for business planning and commercial design finance for the region focused on Japan in Fabric & Home Care business unit. You will take a lead to design mid / long term Japan Fabric Care business strategy and financial glidepath by collaborating with multi-functional team. You will manage short-term financial result delivery and financial reporting by providing explanation of variances and key performance drivers and consolidation of business results to senior management. You will own initiative financial design including new product design with innovation, pricing strategy, and promotion strategy. • Lead in delivering high standards of stewardship in organisation and process workflow.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of proven track record in managing financial forecast and budget management across a matrix organization with high level of agility.
• Business proficiency in Japanese language and past working experience in Japan market for the consumer goods industry is preferred as the role requires local consumer understanding to develop brand equity and marketing strategies for the Japan market.
• Detailed understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
• Maturity, integrity, and high level of discretion are required.
• Independent worker and analytical problem solver with an ability to conduct research, data analysis and resolve problems.
• Financial modelling expertise a plus.
