We are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Central Kitchen and Operations Manager to oversee the culinary team, manage kitchen operations, and ensure the efficient delivery of meals to preschools while maintaining high-quality standards and compliance with halal practices.

Job Overview:

In addition to the previously mentioned responsibilities, the Operations Manager will play a crucial role in the overall success of The School Grocer by providing strategic oversight, enhancing customer satisfaction, collaborating on menu planning, managing inventory, and ensuring financial viability.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Oversight:

• Supervise daily F&B operations to ensure strict adherence to quality and service standards.
• Implement and maintain operational procedures to optimize efficiency and consistency.

Customer Service:

Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction

Work closely with the customer service team to address schools inquiries and feedback.

Menu Planning and Development:

Collaborate with the Management and culinary team to create innovative menus that align with nutritional guidelines and client preferences.

Plan special events, and promotions, and introduce new dishes to enhance the overall dining experience.

Inventory Management:

• Control inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock to minimize waste and optimize cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with the culinary and logistics teams to ensure efficient use of ingredients and minimize excess inventory.

Financial Management:

• Monitor budgets and analyze financial data to ensure cost-effectiveness and profitability.
• Implement cost-control measures without compromising on quality to maximize financial performance.

Compliance:

• Ensure strict compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant authorities to maintain and renew necessary certifications.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse operation management

· To manage inbound and outbound cargos and operation activities.

· To be responsible for maintaining acceptable and accurate inventory levels.

· To communicate and coordinate with warehouse operation team according to customer requirements.

· Handle Transportation arrangement and co-ordinations.

2. Team management

· Support Team work on daily reporting such as inventory report, warehouse and distribution tracking report.

· Work on monthly billing report for transportation and warehouse customers and do system invoicing.

· Communication with customer to receive orders and enhance customer satisfaction.

· Willing to take challenges and work offsite for different projects in the future.

3. Quality control and continuous improvement

· To assist with warehouse team leader/Manager for quality control and continuous improvement.

· To propose to warehouse team leader on continuous improvement schemes.

· To conduct the cost saving within the team.

· Monitor bonded (duty unpaid) cargoes, tally inventory with Singapore custom record.

· Monitoring products inventory and make sure the accuracy between physical stocks and system quantity.

Job Requirements:

· Diploma in Logistic Management / Supply Chain / Business Management.

· Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a warehouse environment preferably in a logistics, freight forwarding or related industry.

· Possess good communication skills with both internal and external customers.

· Good team player, can do attitude and willingness to learn.

· Positive attitude and must be able to handle sudden change and work in a fast paced environment.

· Submission of Quarterly GST.
