In this role, you will support the site energy sustainability program and introduce good energy management practices to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact. The program shall be in alignment with the global energy conservation program and Singapore Energy Act. Cost Transformation and Energy Management

• Ensure projects are timely, on budget and completed in compliance to safety and quality
• Due to diversity of the site and the complexity of projects, priority of projects and changes of priority affects the planning process. This position is frequently required to take appropriate decisions and actions to engage stake holders from peer level or next level managers for resolution. Job Description

• Responsible for sampling and laboratory testing on raw materials, packaging materials, in-process and final products for compliance to quality standard.
• Responsible for in-process line check, environmental monitoring and water monitoring programs.
• Support laboratory operations, including sample receipt, sample subdivision and labelling, waste disposal, stability sample packing etc.

Critical Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Participate in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) Capital Projects as automation representation for installation and expansion of new SIS Systems. Ensuring compliance to industry standards like IEC61511 and IEC61508
• Perform automation change controls with guidance from Automation Lead to ensure that changes are raised and closed on time following the required quality standards. Manages Project Schedule to ensure that manufacturing is not impacted.
• Maximizes production capacity through timely completion of planned maintenance activities and effectively resolving unplanned downtime and events
• Participates in HAZOP / LOPA reviews as SME and completes action items as required
• Develops Automation SOPs, Job Aids and procedures.
• Leads and applies effective root cause analysis and troubleshooting techniques to support resolution of incidents, events, deviations, atypical investigations and fault reports related to Automation and ensures all the resolution are effectively implemented within the agreed time frame to prevent recurrence.
• Supports a continuous improvement framework within Automation and the IPT and works with Leads to identify and implement improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Science or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in automation engineering within manufacturing or oil & gas industry

Job Scope

• Manage all the variation claims with Client and coordinate with JV partner and internal stakeholders including preparation of documentation, substantiation as per contract requirements, timely submission, meeting coordination and follow up till the conclusion of each variation/ claim.
• Manage change order/ variation claim from subcontractors and prepare change order/ in support of variation order claims to client, and keeping track of all change orders
