RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on analyzing swimming videos and processing smart watch data from children. Successful candidate will be part of an active research team led by Prof Rajesh Krishna BALAN from School of Computing and Information Systems, Singapore Management University.

Candidate's core responsibilities are:

• Analyze video data collected from drones of singapore swimming athletes
• Extract the body movements and speed from these videos
• Produce a real-time analysis that can be viewed by coaches pool-side
• Process the sensor data collected from smart watches worn by children with autism
• Extract features that are predictive of meltdown incidents
• Create models that can predict meltdowns

• Minimum PhD degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning
• Minimum 5 years of relevant research experience in processing sensor data, machine learning, video analytics
• Proficiency in programming software/languages such as python, cuda, and java will be required
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on sensor processing, video analytics, and machine learning
• Experience with at least one programming software/languages, such as python, cuda and java is preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of machine learning, sensor analysis, and video analytics
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role holder will be responsible for running a reliable and responsive Financial Planning and Analysis function that provides the Director of Finance, the Senior Management Team (SMT) and managers across the Organisation with value-add financial support and analysis which facilitates effective decision making.The role holder will be responsible for the provision of timely, accurate, relevant management information to all levels of management and regularly reviewing this information. This will include provision of monthly reports, critical review and interpretation of results and value-add analysis.

Financial Planning and Forecast:

• Coordinate budget planning, forecast and review exercise across MINDS, including annual budget & workplan and mid-year review
• Establish 5 years financial planning needs of MINDS, identifying funding needs and coordinate the allocation of resources
• Ensure adequacy, timeliness and accuracy of periodic Management reports for HODs
• Analyse financial data, highlighting variances, trends and red flags
• Work with Procurement and HODs to institute cost saving measures
• Participate in business cases, review assumption and financial calculations for proposals• Assist in costing and development of pricing models
• Assist in financial system enhancement to improve controls and financial functions

Treasury:

• Coordinate surplus fund management in accordance to investment mandate
• Prepare cash flow analysis and forecast to facilitate operations and maximise use of surplus fund
• Liaise with banks for banking mandate

Other duties:

• Preparation of resolutions and forms for banks
• Ah-hoc verification works

Degree in accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Oracle NetSuite, good IT knowledge with reporting building skills is advantageous.
• Good writing and communication skills.

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for all phases of the project, designing and implementing project plans to ensure timely project delivery within the time and budget.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Lead assigned teams in the timely execution of project to delivery within budget with responsibility for high productivity and performance.
• Manage marine / coastal infrastructure and drainage improvement projects from planning to implementation phases of projects
• Monitor and ensure that site progress is in accordance with the master program with no delay in works and proper work sequencing.
• Managing client relationship through the life cycle of projects; from tender or commencement of project to successful project completion
• Efficient management of marine subcontractors, related marine logistics, plant and equipment.
• Provide guidance to team in project works in terms of quality and safety standards
• Provide technical expertise as required on the project.
• Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.

Skills & Requirements

• Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in delivering large scale projects in marine infrastructure
• Experience in seawall and coastal revetment works is an advantage
• Excellent track record of ability to manage teams and projects (from start to hand over).
• Strong ability in cost management and driving profitability while remaining in compliance with safety and quality standards
