About Us

We are an upcoming dessert restaurant that specialises in artisanal French and Japanese-inspired pastries.

Every one of our bakes and cakes has a story to tell. They are mostly inspired by our head pastry chef’s cake adventures overseas and her personal life experiences.

Our travels to cake kingdoms abroad have taught us that the best flavours are when they are in season. That’s when you get the best, the richest and the most bombardistic explosion of flavours in your mouth. Your day to day

• Work closely with head pastry chef for the daily productions, preparation and presentation of menu items
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of your work stations and maintenance of equipments
• Able to work on given tasks independently with precision and high quality
• Able to work in an efficient and timely manner
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
• Monitor, check and receive ingredient stock

What we need from you

• 1 year related experience in a cake shop of similar capacity will be good but not necessary as training and guidance will be provided
• Valid Food Safety Level 1 certification as required by Singapore Food Agency (SFA)

Job Description:

Cook Job Responsibilities:

Pleases customers by providing a pleasant dining experience. Serves meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients; and maintaining a sanitary kitchen. Executes cold food production in accordance with standards of plating guide specifications.

Attends to the detail and presentation of each order. Places and expedites orders. Prepares ingredients by following recipes; slicing, cutting, chopping, mincing, stirring, whipping, and mixing ingredients; adding seasonings; verifying taste; and plating meals.

Completes hot meal preparation by grilling, sautéing, roasting, frying, and broiling ingredients and assembling and refrigerating cold ingredients. Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items. Stores leftovers according to established standards.

Coordinates daily food supply inventory for cafeteria. Submits order to supervisor. Assists with receipt of deliveries.

Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme menus in collaboration with supervisor. Ensures smooth operation of cafeteria services during absence of supervisor. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
