Key Responsibilities

• Handle a wide range of raw fish and other ingredients
• Bake, grill, steam and deep-fry meats, vegetables, fish, poultry and other foods
• Prepare ingredients for menu items and ensure adequate quantity to avoid wastage
• Ensure food portions and food presentation meet company standards
• Ensure ingredients and final products are fresh
• Monitoring supplies and re-ordering stock as needed
• Packing and labelling of sashimi
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, equipment and dishes
• Handle and store ingredients and food at the correct temperature in order to avoid spoilage
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor and train subordinates to obtain good-quality skills and performance
• Welcome and bid farewell to customers as part of an open-concept restaurant environment

We are running 24 hrs restaurant (South Indian, North Indian and Western) and we are looking for a Cook to join our team and prepare delicious meals for our customers.

Chef responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes. You should be able to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner. Also, you should be familiar with sanitation regulations. If you have experience with advanced cooking techniques and non-traditional ingredients, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll prepare and deliver a complete menu that delights our guests. The Senior Cook/ Cook/ Assistant Cook is responsible for daily culinary production in the section assigned. Ensure that the food product are produced in accordance to the food safety standards and maintained at all times. The candidate should specialize in preparing and baking a variety of desserts and pastries specifically for schools' cafes environment, corporate gatherings, and events. This role involves creating customized dessert offerings that align with the theme and preferences of the required theme and season.

Description:

• Design dessert menus that fit the theme, season and dietary requirements.
• Create custom desserts and pastries tailored to specific catering events' requests.
• Prepare a wide range of desserts, including cakes, pastries, cookies, and more.
• Scale recipes to accommodate large quantities needed for events.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all items.
• Maintain high standards for taste, appearance, and quality.
• Adjust recipes and techniques as needed to meet client expectations.
• Keep the baking area clean and organized, following health and safety regulations.
• Clean and maintain baking equipment regularly.

Requirements

• Degree, Diploma or technical certificate in Culinary Arts / Pastry / Hospitality / Restaurant Managment / Restaurant Operations.
• Individuals with 03 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience in an institutional catering or multi-outlet setting is preferred.

A Cook, or Line Cook, is responsible for preparing ingredients at an establishment that serves food, processing customer orders, producing meals and cleaning their workspace throughout the day to follow health and safety guidelines. Cooks follow recipes consistently, make adjustments based on customer requests, communicate with wait staff and prepare garnishes to make an attractive presentation for each meal.

Role and responsibilities

· Ingredient preparation, cooking, dish creation

· Ensure that the kitchen operates smoothly and meets the Company's quality standards

· Plan and direct food preparation

· Resolve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation

· Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance

· Inventory management

Requirements

· Prior chef/cook experience

· Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures

· Excellent record of kitchen and staff management

· Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions

· Familiar with industry’s best practices
