We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive, Community Outreach and Partnerships to join our dedicated team. This role will be integral to fostering partnerships, driving outreach initiatives, and promoting awareness of our programs and services for stroke survivors and their caregivers. The ideal candidate will combine excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a good understanding of community engagement and marketing strategies to increase visibility and support for our programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Partnerships & Engagement:
- Identify, build, and maintain strategic partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and local stakeholders to expand our reach and services for stroke survivors and their caregivers.
- Collaborate with community groups and businesses to promote awareness of stroke detection, recovery programs, caregiving resources, and support services.
- Act as a liaison for the agency at relevant community events, conferences, and meetings, to strengthen relationships and create new opportunities for collaboration.
- Work with Programmes team to coordinate and facilitate outreach activities and workshops.
- Marketing & Communications:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to raise awareness of our services, programs, and events across various platforms (social media, website, emails and newsletters, etc.).
- Create compelling marketing content, including social media posts, brochures and flyers, that resonates with stroke survivors, caregivers, and the broader community.
- Design and implement targeted campaigns that highlight our mission and services, ensuring that materials are accessible and relevant to stroke survivors and caregivers.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure maximum impact.
- Stakeholder & Donor Relations:
- Support fundraising efforts through outreach and partnership development to secure both in-kind and financial support for the agency’s programs.
- Engage with current and potential donors to communicate the impact of their contributions and build long-term relationships.
- Maintain a database of community contacts and partners to track outreach efforts and follow-up actions.
- Program Awareness & Education:
- Partner with healthcare providers and other professionals to ensure the community is informed about available resources and services for stroke survivors and caregivers.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Track and report on outreach and marketing efforts, providing regular updates on engagement levels, campaign effectiveness, and partnership development.
- Use data to inform decision-making and refine future outreach strategies.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by Executive Director
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, with minimum 2 years working experience.
- Proven experience in marketing, community outreach, or partnership management, preferably within the healthcare or social service sector.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and independently to design and execute effective outreach and marketing campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and basic digital marketing tools (email marketing, analytics, etc.).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage diverse community stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to improving the lives of stroke survivors and their caregivers.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) for creating marketing materials.
- Experience in working with diverse populations and a commitment to inclusivity.
- Previous experience in a nonprofit or healthcare environment is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for outreach and events.
