The Finance Manager, International Blue Carbon Institute supports financial, and administrative functions of the International Blue Carbon Institute. The Manufacturing Cost Accounting & Finance Manager, (internal title: Manufacturing Cost Controller) will be responsible for acting as a business partner to the management team of a manufacturing facility enabling strong business performance and ensuring adequate controls. The position will provide day to day support to the management team in line with the performance objectives of the Manufacturing Director and in compliance with company controls and compliance. This position will report directly to the Manufacturing Controller and functionally to the Senior Plant Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

• Control of day-to-day Accounting and Finance Activities including: -
• Budget - Preparation of Budget, Forecast and comparisons.
• Audit - Statutory audit, Internal Audit and financial reports.
• Operations Activities.
• Review and analysis daily shipments, receipts and Direct Labor Hours.
• Involve in day to day manufacturing operations for cost cutting and process improvements.
• Preparing monthly targets for operation staff for shipments and Direct Labor hours and Inventory.
• Control in operational cost including operating supplies/ Repairs/ Overtime.
• Continually assess productivity and efficiency with a view to improve.

• Monitors and coordinates with other departments the delivery of services, tools and/or equipment; compares records with contracts/purchase orders requirements and reports discrepancies to Management.
• Directs and coordinates activities of staff to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of operations and maximize profits.
• Review the timesheets of staff & equipment and the related financial dues.
• Set and manage the production budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of Finance Department
