• Work closely with various teams within the group including trading, commercial, marketing, operations, trade & treasury and risk teams to ensure understanding of all P&L, costing methods and enhancement of current accounting systems

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. CA or CPA qualifications is a must. Experience with reporting under IFRS
• 5-8 years of experience in audit and financial controlling, with expertise in commodity trading;
• Strong experience in monthly & quarterly closings and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance;
• Strong skills in dealing with systems (for example, ETRM, ERP, reporting tools);
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
• Proficient in spoken and writing English & Chinese (due to inherent nature of our business / subsidiary in China and able to communicate with suppliers from time to time)

1. Maintain a system of internal control over property assets, revenue & expenses.
2. Oversee & monitor Finance operations mainly Income Audit, General Cashier, Account Payable, Account Receivables & General Ledger.
3. Monitor and improve cash flow, productivity, revenue, and profitability trends.
4. Develop key performance indicators and oversee financial performance for hospitality segment.
5. Manage the annual budgeting process, including materials for Board meetings with narratives, business explanations, and financial forecasts.
6. Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports for internal management, including detailed analytical review and variance analysis such as P&L Analysis, cost variance analysis and budget vs. actual performance analysis
7. Build financial models for strategic scenario analysis, cost benefit calculation, project evaluation, investment appraisals, revenue projections.
8. Participate in cross-functional projects to drive process improvements and cost efficiencies and/or put in control process required for hospitality setup

Responsibilities:

• Check daily disbursements to suppliers
• Prepare monthly closing, forecasting and analysis
• Check and prepare monthly, quarterly and year end reports
• Oversee quarterly GST submission
• Check tax computations and schedules
• Liaise with banks and answer queries
• Liaise with internal/external auditors/tax agent on audit and taxation matters
• Any other ad-hoc projects as and when required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• Minimally 6 years of finance/accounting experience with supervisory responsibility
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, able to work independently and adhere to tight reporting deadlines

Role Overview: The Digital Solutions Consultant is responsible for promoting digital solutions to key accounts and new customers within the Food & Beverage sector, focusing on expanding the digital business and maximizing profitability for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal sales teams to expand digital offerings within the corporate F&B industry
• Identify and build relationships with key decision-makers (corporate/B2B level)
• Develop and implement digital sales and pricing strategies for the Food & Beverage business in SEA
• Quantify and communicate the value proposition for digital solutions.
• Identify and prospect new enterprise customers
• Business and financial acumen – including partnership program, business development, negotiation, merchandizing value
• Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on industry-specific technologies and share insights with internal and external stakeholders
• International travel for business meetings and conferences

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business or food related disciplines
• 7+ years of corporate / B2B digital sales experience for the F&B industry across SEA
• Worked in a large and global MNC
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L management
• Ability to travel regionally for up to 50%
• Base in Singapore
