Position Overview:
As the Country Manager based in Singapore, you will be at the forefront of our operations in Southeast Asia. This role is critical in driving business growth, managing local teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives within the region. The Country Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business in Singapore and will frequently travel to China for business development and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
a. Develop and implement business strategies to increase the company’s market share and profitability in Southeast Asia.
b. Identify new market opportunities and expand our presence in the region, with a focus on China.
2. Team Leadership:
a. Hire, train, and manage a high-performing local team.
b. Foster a culture of excellence and drive team performance.
3. Client Relations:
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
b. Represent the company at high-level meetings and events in Singapore and China.
4. Marketing and Sales:
a. Develop and execute marketing and sales plans to increase brand visibility and revenue.
b. Oversee the performance of marketing campaigns and sales activities.
5. Operational Excellence:
a. Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and maintain high service standards.
b. Implement and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency.
6. Compliance and Risk Management:
a. Ensure all business activities comply with local laws and company policies.
b. Manage risks and ensure the company's reputation is upheld.
Qualifications:
â—Ź Master's degree in engineering, bechelor's may be considered.
â—Ź Profound insight into acoustic technology, bone conduction technology, binaural technology, and related industries.
â—Ź 7+ years of headphone industry management experience, with a proven track record in a leadership role.
â—Ź Deeply cultivated channel resources and extensive personal connections within the sales channels of Southeast Asian countries.
â—Ź Strong business acumen and strategic planning skills.
â—Ź Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
â—Ź Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, is required.
â—Ź Experience in a multi-cultural work environment.
â—Ź Proficiency in Oracle suite, Sunlike, Tableau and ERP systems.
Work Environment:
This role is based in Singapore with regular travel to various locations within Southeast Asia and China.
