Reporting directly to the principal of the firm, the Finance Manager will be the cornerstone of our finance function, responsible for all finance-related activities within the firm. As the sole finance professional, you will oversee the financial health of the company, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and providing strategic financial insights. Responsibilities:

• Develop budget planning and forecasting and analyze financial performance of the firm.

Requirements:

• Proven experience 7-10 years in a finance role, preferably within the asset management or hedge fund.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws.

Responsibilities:

• Monthly preparation of financial reports for Singapore and Malaysia entities
• Quarterly and annual planning and projecting of sales revenues and operating expenses
• Monthly preparation of payroll for Singapore and Malaysia
• Collaborating with external accounting and corporate secretary firms for annual auditing and tax filing matters
• Manage corporate tax matters such as submission of GST (Singapore), SST (Malaysia), income tax, etc.
• Management of statutory filing such as CPF (Singapore), EPF (Malaysia), etc
• Preparation/Submission of Return of Employee’s Remuneration (IR8A – SG), (Form EA/E – Malaysia)
• Provide financial advice to the management team
• Provide supervision to junior finance colleagues

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum qualification: Diploma/Degree/ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the professional services industry is preferred for this position.
• Excellent knowledge in the use of accounting software such as MYOB, Quickbooks, etc.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous and able to multitask.
• Knowledge and experience in Singapore and Malaysia accounting will be an advantage
