• Tax Planning: Develop and implement effective tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position. Identify and evaluate tax-saving opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Research and Analysis: Stay updated on local and international tax legislation, regulations, and industry trends. Conduct research on tax-related issues and provide actionable insights to management.
• Audit Support: Coordinate and manage tax audits with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) and other relevant authorities. Prepare necessary documentation and responses.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with finance, legal, and operational teams to ensure cohesive tax strategies that align with business objectives.
• Reporting: Prepare and present tax-related reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting risks, compliance status, and opportunities for tax optimization.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax compliance/advisory, preferably with prior experience as a tax professional in international accounting firms.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws, including corporate tax, GST, and transfer pricing. Experience with international tax will be considered favourably.
