Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager (Private Credit) to join their finance team. This role focuses on managing the operational and financial aspects of the firm’s private credit platform. This role requires a confident and proactive finance professional who can manage the financial operations of the firm’s private credit platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Fund Operations and Collaboration with Service Providers:

• Oversee the fund accounting process managed by external fund administrators, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for fund administrators, auditors, and other external service providers to facilitate seamless operations.
• Review and approve NAV calculations, financial statements, and other deliverables prepared by service providers.

Portfolio Valuation and Monitoring:

• Support the valuation process for private credit and mezzanine investments, ensuring compliance with internal valuation policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including tracking of loan covenants, interest payments, and repayment schedules.
• Prepare periodic reports for internal leadership and external stakeholders summarizing key metrics and financial performance.

Transaction and Operational Support:

• Coordinate operational workflows for private credit transactions, including funding processes and vehicle setup.
• Work closely with the investment team to ensure efficient execution of credit deals and compliance with operational policies.

Treasury and Cash Flow Management:

• Oversee cash flow planning related to credit investments, ensuring proper management of capital calls, distributions, and liquidity.
• Liaise with fund administrators to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls for fund operations.
• Identify potential operational risks and work with the Global Financial Controller to implement mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting:

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial and operational updates to the Global Financial Controller and senior management.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 8–12 years of experience in fund finance or operations within private credit, private equity, or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of fund accounting, portfolio valuation, and financial reporting processes.
• Familiarity with credit structures, including loans and mezzanine financing, and their operational requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Articulate and assertive in discussions, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner

As a Finance Executive, we rely on you to

• Assist in preparation. reviewing and finalization of monthly full set of accounts and FOS reports, include prepare month end journals at hotel level.
• Assist to prepare and submit reports to regional & HQ, according to timeline given.
• To ensure up to date License, Contract & Insurance records, which includes monitoring its respective due dates, to ensure that all licenses, contracts, insurance are renewed in a timely manner.
• To ensure timely & accurate Capex file maintenance, monitoring and records keeping
• Fixed assets – Ensure asset verification, tagging and prepare monthly report
• To verify & submit non-PO invoices to FSSC-Accounts Payable team
• Manage hotel cash recycler machine and in charge of cash banking
• Review staff e-claims in HR Connect
• To work closely with Finance Share Services (FSSC) & Procurement Share Service (PSSC) team
• Assist in inventory and OE count as witness
• To ensure schedule and reporting for Beverage Count, High Value Inventory, Defrost Testing is performed and compiled
• To perform monthly Receiving surprise check as part of FKCC
• To maintain and update Department’s leave record, Attendance Report, Public Holiday and Off-In-Lieu Reports
• To handle the Department’s mail pick-up and distribution
• To assist FC and/or CA in other hotel matters – highlight matters that need management attention

We are looking for someone with

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in hospitality industry
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Good written/spoken communication and interpersonal skills

o Support the preparation and review of financial statements for Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Taiwan, ensuring accuracy, and alignment with accounting standards.

o Prepare and file various reports such as taxable payments annual reports, to meet income reporting obligations across APAC countries.

o Collaborate with global data teams, using SQL and query builder to reconcile data with financial records.

o Coordinate and compile essential documentation and financial records to ensure readiness for audits by APAC tax authorities.

o Review financial statements, tax return, transaction data, and other necessary documents to fulfil information requests from tax authorities.

o Conduct quarterly reviews of financial data and tax payments to ensure compliance with local statutory and tax requirements.

o Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues or discrepancies identified during audits and implement necessary corrective actions.

o Monitor and stay informed about regulatory changes across APAC that could impact tax reporting and compliance requirements.

Job Requirements

o 3-5 years of experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, or auditing, preferably within the APAC region.

o Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master’s degree or ACCA certification is a plus.

o Strong understanding of APAC tax laws, accounting standards, and compliance requirements.

o Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage and interpret large datasets.

o Proficiency in Excel, tax reporting tools, and financial systems.

o Strong organizational skills for managing multiple reports, audit documentation, and tax filings across APAC countries.
