The Opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Key Account Executive to assist our Key Account Manager in driving business growth and achieving our company objectives. In this role, you will coordinate administrative tasks, analyze sales data, and work closely with various teams to ensure the smooth execution of promotions, product listings, and market initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Support Key Account Manager (KAM) on all aspects of administration processes and submissions of promotions and product listings
• Generate sales reports and provide necessary insights to the KAM for decision-making
• Collaborate and assist the KAM to achieve the company’s financial goals and objectives, improve market share and productivity performance measures for the company
• Monitor competitor pricing and promotions and report on market trends and category developments
• Weekly site visits to retail stores for product sharing and conduct product surveys.
• Assist retail team with atriums/pop-up
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of projects and timely delivery of products/services.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Minimum Diploma/ degree in business sales/retail, with at least 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity ideally within the FMCG or related industry.
• Able to work independently, results-oriented with strong business acumen.
• Ability to manage tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Month-end closing duties (AP, AR, GL)
• Monthly GTO submission
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Monthly intercompany billings
• Monthly supplier bulk payments
• Monthly maintenance of balance sheet schedules
• Quarterly GST Submission
• Support in yearly audit, tax computation assignments
• To conduct on-demand outlet stock check, cash audit and fixed asset sighting
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of related working experience and possess at least a Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent, preferably from F&B industry with MYOB knowledge
• Basic knowledge of SFRS, corporate tax and GST rules and regulations
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with good communication skills
• Able to start immediately or at short notice
• IT literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words & Excel - strong in formula)
• Fast learner with strong sense of initiative, driven and a good team player

Job Responsibilities

• Attend to customers’ enquiries & follow up quotation with customer
• Prepare quotation and ensure rates to customers are updated
• Handle the processing of all quotations with accuracy and timeliness
• Establish and develop new business opportunities with potential customers
• Maintain and promote a positive and professional attitude while building collaborative relationships among potential and existing customers
• Negotiate pricing with the customers
• Prepare monthly sales forecasts and reports
• Expand existing business and contribute to meet sales KPI. Customer visits when necessary

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Marketing or equivalent
• At least 2-year related working experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Words, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
• Preferably with experience Freight Forwarding – understanding of incoterms and shipping procedure will be an advantage
• Good negotiation skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, achievement oriented and able to build and foster a positive team environment
