DEPARTMENT MANAGEMENT

About ideal candidate:

• University Degree in Law (eg. JD, LLB, LLM) and Legal Qualification to practice as a lawyer (preferably in a common law jurisdiction).

• Senior professional with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience in private practice and/or in-house position in a multinational corporation.

• Experience in: solid experience in IT/SaaS/outsourcing agreements, as well as knowledge of data privacy issues. 

• High quality training in a common-law jurisdiction strongly preferred.

• Experience working within China or familiarity with Chinese law highly desirable.

• We require a seasoned (lead) negotiator (preferably on the IT vendor side) who knows how to balance between commercial and legal stakes. 

• Strong commercial outlook and great client care skills 

• Must have a strategic as well as legal approach to the law and like working in a fast paced, innovative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the membership CRM database using a sophisticated database system
• Analyze data to derive meaningful insights for business improvement
• Assist Finance Director in tracking company, team and employee KPIs
• Compute and analyze manpower statistics and payroll costs (both fixed and variable components)
• Perform policy-compliance audits
• Submit monthly analytical reports to senior management for insights
• Generate daily progress update and submit weekly audit reports of non-compliant or irregular incidents, personnel involved and the monetary amount impact for HQ to adjust the Monthly Performance Bonus (MPB) of the personnel involved
• To liaise and coordinate with HQ in Singapore on SOP audit & compliance
• Uphold compliance standards in all financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable processes with precision, ensuring accuracy in verification and payment processing
• Manage office operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to organizational policies

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Good in planning and organizing work flow, with strong in numeracy, analytical and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Enjoy working in fast-paced and dynamic environment independently
