Job Scope:
- Be part of the Manpower Development and Outreach team, who works closely with industry employers, educational institutions and schools to promote careers to youth and job-seekers.
Pre-Event
• Main liaison with the engaged events company to plan and organise events, taking into account coordination and inputs from participating exhibitors
• Develop relevant marketing and promotional materials for events
• Arrange for site recce and rehearsals
During Event
• Provide support throughout the event – to be the key point of contact and work closely with the events company to resolve issues on-site
• Ensure supporting staff and teams are quickly informed when issues arise
Other Administrative Duties
• Provide administrative support (invitation lists, administrative brief preparation etc)
• Prepare event reports and after-action review
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of related working experience in events management or related fields. Fresh graduates with keen interest in events management may also be considered.
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Resourceful, with high initiative, and able to problem-solve
• Good team player and able to multi-task
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
