Job Summary

Responsible for promoting a quality program focused on patient safety, training, standards development, audits, and risk management. Monitor healthcare trends in quality, patient safety, and performance improvement. Stay updated on regulatory requirements for quality assurance and patient safety. Drive continuous service improvements through surveys, audits, and training.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage incidents, customer feedback/complaints, and implement preventive actions.
• Identify and apply improvements in service, clinical quality, and patient safety.
• Develop and conduct training to improve service standards and customer service culture.
• Track and report Quality Indicators (e.g., productivity, customer surveys, incidents).
• Assist in creating and reviewing quality management policies for compliance.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and maintain all relevant policies.
• Work with consultants to achieve and maintain certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Bizsafe).
• Handle external communications with agencies like MOH/AIC and manage award submissions.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager/CEO.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma, preferably Degree in any field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality management, ideally in healthcare.
• Experience in quality assurance, patient safety, and PDPA.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and guidelines.
• Experience in Root Cause Analysis and Failure Modes Effects Analysis is a plus.

Job Purpose:The Culture and Programming Senior Executive at The Standard, Singapore will enhance brand awareness by overseeing property activation, curating venue programming, and fostering partnerships. This role blends managing cultural initiatives, events, and strategic vision with ensuring brand consistency. Collaborating with Marketing and Operations, the Executive will reflect the brand's Vision and Integrity across programming, build relationships in creative communities, and boost brand visibility locally and globally. The aim is to make The Standard, Singapore the top choice for locals, expatriates, and visitors. As a key brand ambassador, the Executive will be crucial in achieving these goals.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership and Vision

• Setting Long-Term Strategies: Works closely with steering committee to develop and articulate long-term strategies and vision for the organization’s cultural and programming initiatives.
• Enhancing Brand Identity: Understand, maintain, and enhance the identity of The Standard brand through strategic programming efforts.

2. Program Development and Execution

• Crafting Cultural Calendar: Create a vibrant and diverse monthly cultural calendar celebrating arts, music, fashion, film, and wellness, involving hands-on planning and curation of events and activities.
• Program Delivery: Ensure programs are delivered according to established timelines and meet high-quality standards.
• Ensure a continuous flow of programming and events to maintain interest and attract a diverse target audience for the brand and property.
• Demonstrate ability and creativity in curating on-brand programming and events focusing on F&B, music, fashion, film, art, activism, wellness, sports & fitness.
• Create content for press, social media platforms, and the website.
  Provide all necessary information for event promotion to the marketing teams.
• Collaborate with marketing and Public Relations teams to leverage KOL and influencer voices for the property and brand.
• Ensure commendable guest attendance for all events and activations, utilizing social networking to establish a loyal core guest list.
• Supervise the successful execution of all events in conjunction with the property team to ensure optimal guest experience and satisfaction.
• Facilitate payments with the accounting department according to finance protocol.
  

3. Financial Management

• Budget Oversight: Oversee the development and management of the cultural programming budget, ensuring financial sustainability and efficient resource allocation.
• Funding and Sponsorship: Secure sponsorships, grants, and other funding sources to support and expand programming.
  

4. Partnerships and Relationship Management

• Developing Relationships: Utilize specialized knowledge and local networks to enhance programming and drive business expansion. Build and harness relationships within creative communities to create partnerships for events and activations.
• Managing Key Partnerships: Develop and manage relationships with key speakers, influencers, and companies to bolster support for the cultural calendar and enhance the hotel’s event schedules.

5. Industry Engagement and Innovation

• Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations, incorporating them into programming strategies to keep the organization at the forefront of cultural excellence.
  

6. Collaboration and CoordinationCross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, department heads, and other key stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of cultural programs.

• Event Coordination: Coordinate, arrange, and lead weekly meetings for cultural events to review upcoming activities and discuss future plans.
• Interdepartmental Planning: On a monthly basis, collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage and the Director of Marketing and Communication to propose, align, and plan program activation concepts, directions, and feasible execution plans.

7. Operational Excellence

• Program Execution: Develop and program activities for hotel guests, the local community, and expatriates living in Singapore.
• Event Management: Collaborate with all departments to ensure the successful execution of events, parties, and programming. Manage and coordinate key events with relevant teams, working closely with the hotel's Marketing team to ensure guest satisfaction and experience.

8. Music

• Curate and select music performances for in-house entertainment and collaborative events.
• Overseeing the execution of all events, in close collaboration with sound engineers and production teams.
• Ensuring the appropriate calibre and quality of music on the premises for an optimal and continuous guest experience.

9. Brand Ambassador

• Consistently embodying the brand culture to its fullest extent.
  Mandatory presence at all activations and events.

10. Confidentiality and Discretion

• Discretion: Always exercise keen discretion and maintain confidentiality when addressing ongoing challenges.

11. Marketing and Public Relations

• Marketing and Public Relations Alignment: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of marketing and public relations practices, ensuring that work aligns with these standards.

12. Additional Support

• Support Tasks: Provide support by performing any other tasks as assigned by the Director of Food and Beverage.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Business, Marketing Communications, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in event programming and management, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment setting.

• Proven track record of developing and executing successful events.
