Your day to day

voco Orchard Singapore is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join the team as a Catering Sales Manager (Corporate). As Catering Sales Manager (Corporate), you will drive business through direct sales solicitation for the corporate segment and support overall catering revenue for the hotel.

FINANCIAL RETURNS

• Manage banquets / events functions to achieve the optimum departmental revenue targets
• Follow up on potential sales leads
• Design and plan meeting and function packages to maxamise the conversions and profitability for the hotel.
• Negotiate and review events packages offered to clients
• Represent the hotel in sales blitz, roadshows and events as required
• Produce monthly sales-related reports and sales forecasts for assigned area of responsibility.

PEOPLE

• Work closely with Banquet and other departments to facilitate services agreed upon and to ensure the overall success of the event

• Maintain client files and update information daily in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.

What we need from you

• Possess at least a Diploma in Marketing/Tourism/Hospitality Management/Travel or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years catering sales experience required, preferably in a hotel.
• Suitable candidates with lesser experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager position.
• May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office
• Must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
